Oru Curry Kada — Restaurant in Kerala

I have ordered from this place several times. The curries vary in quality—some are good, while others are just okay. They have a homely taste and are served fresh and hot in generous portions. My favorites are aviyal, netholi meen peera, and puliserri. I also tried other dishes like kanava and prawns roast, which were spicy but just average. Fish fry it was ok ! The koyala fish curry was also just okay, and the kappa thalichaath was not well cooked and lacked flavor. The food is well packed !

Did try out recently their special cabbage thoran, it was good !!!

Please note that they only offer parcel service, with no dine-in option, and Zomato delivers their food. However, it does take a long time to receive the food—almost an hour!

Recently ordered their food again, and I must say they are trying to maintain consistency. • Fish Thoran – Good, just like always. • Beans Thoran – Fresh and nicely made. • Choora Fish Curry – Tasty and flavorful, really good. • Piyar Mizkuvaratti – Quite spicy, so definitely for those who enjoy heat.

Packaging was neat and well done, keeping everything intact.

Very tasty food. Curries are served hot in ample quantity. The crowd outside the shop right from the moment it opens around 11.45am, is proof of its popularity. The serving staff is able to keep cool and handle the big rush of orders. The shop is a very small dinghy place with very little space to stand inside the shop.
