PVS Mango Bakers Pookunnam — Restaurant in Kerala

Purchased a chocolate nut cake just today from this outlet and purchased some snacks from there too. Parking right in front might not be always possible as this is situated on the left side right at the crossroad just before approaching Poonkunam Square.

Have a good spread of snack items both in veg. and non-veg. items besides sweets and savories. Same goes with the cake too. Friendly and courteous staff. One thing that caught my attention was that every snack item was packed separately which normally is not the case in other bakery outlets. They have outdoor dining section with about 4-5 tables ideal for people to hang out after school, college or work.

Areas of improvement - Cake box looks very ordinary, can give a richer feel to it especially when customer is paying this much. If designated parking area can be made, this might improve footfall to...

I had a really bad experience with the staff there. My daughter's birthday cake which I ordered was a fruitcake and what I got was fully filled with whipping cream all over the cake when I specifically told them not to. And they were yelling at us that we never told them about the whipping cream. There was not an ounce of whipping cream in the photo they put up on the website, so this really cheating because we are ordering from the website and then presting us a cake which is not even similar too it. And instead of accepting their mistake they were trying to turn the plates. Really bad customer service, I tried to upload the photo with the review but I was not able to so I have uploaded it...

This is the best place for a tea break or snacks whichever branch of this bakers it is!! All their freshly baked snacks,pastries or even packaged snacks are so yummy,crispy and fresh.I love their egg puffs and cutlets.Its been a rule to buy birthday cakes from here if we want nominally priced cakes.It tastes good as the ones you get from home bakers.The best part is the way they had followed covid protocols so well during the virus outbreak.The one suggestion I would like to make is to extend your bakers with a little bigger sitting area so that we ll be able to taste all the goodies you have...
