Kaizen Diners ( Vegetarian Restaurant ) — Restaurant in Kerala

We went after seeing the Google reviews but the service was pathetic and we were waiting for around 1 hour for our dishes to get served.

Then the food was so bad mainly dosa items then noodles was average and parotta with panner mutter gravy was fine.

What we were disappointed about was the mysore malasa dosa there was no potato masala and spicy chutney inside the dosa, what we got is a very sweet dosa with peanut chutney powder sprinkled. Then after that the waiter changed his words and said that we ordered mysore dosa and it was not mysore masala dosa but we said we ordered as per in your menu card and the waiter said there is no such kind of dish name in the menu.

Finally the waiter cancelled from the bill and later said the preparer doesn't know the dish so was wrongly prepared and served to us.

Such a worst service and the billing counter person said it was due to onam, miladunnabi and unexpected rush in the restaurant they had very few staff so it happened like this. Whatever if they cannot provide proper service with less staff they should have closed the restaurant instead of giving this kind of food and service.

This was our first experience with this restaurant and it was so bad so next time we will...

A very good dining experience but for the end. I'll come to it. Before that, a rich smiling welcome greets you that makes you feel at home. Appears there is no need for reservations. It's a come, sit, eat and go if seatings are available.

You need anything from about 30 to 40 mins for the food to be ready from the time you order. So if you are with friends and want to spend some time chit chatting, just for that, it's a place to go, apart from the fine tastier food that they offer. Food portions are adequate and quite enough for the items ordered and served. Hot and tasty food indeed.

Time to pay when the bill comes. Be careful when you are paying using your card. They turn the card and try to look at the CVV. I was not happy and asked him as to why he turned my card and looked at the back of the card. The waiter appeared ignorant as if he did nothing wrong. I had to complain to the Manager about this who apologised and said he would "educate" the waiters.

But for this exit incident, it was a very nice dining experience. Enough car park outside with a security personnel though i didn't notice valet services....

The food was nice. The ambience, service, everything was bad. We went for lunch as a group of 18 people, and they were displeased from the beginning. There was not even a menu card. The food options were very limited and their response to every food item we asked for was "The chef and everyone else is sleeping. It's their rest time. So this food is not available." Though I respect their rest time, I don't think it's an acceptable answer since it was at 2:30 that we went for lunch. Never in my life have I ever received this response from a restaurant though I have gone for lunch even after 3 at several other places. We had already called them the previous day and informed that a group of 18 people are coming. We even pre ordered a few items by 1:30 PM. Yet, this is how they responded when we reached there. They could already have said that several food items won't be available, but they hid it from us till we reached there. We will never be going to this place again, and I don't recommend this...
