It was 2 months ago when i first visit this restaurant to experience the kaithi biriyani with one of my friend. The first impression was good as the food was nice and the service was also good. So after a few days i visited again with my family. But during the second visit i experienced some shattering in their service. As the staff were like they are forced to do this.. Like a rude kind of behaviour(not all of them some of them). So i was not completely satisfied with the second visit. But i didnt take it as a big thing to worry about. And yesterday's experience was really bad. I was on my way to back to home and i was starving. Though i see so many hotels while coming back and i didn't stopped as my destination was royal travancore kitchen as i love the food there.. When i got there there was no other customers only i was there.. 2 staffs were there and one of them was cleaning. I sat on the seat waiting for someone to come to take the orders.. I sat there for almost 15-20 minutes and not a single person came atleast to give a menu and select the food.. The 2 staffs out there were like never mind me kind of behaviour... And i asked one of the staff who was outside whether there is dining and he replied yes sir. I told him i was here for 20 mins and no one even asked me what i want to eat. Ane he replied that sir most of the staff are downstairs i will tell them. I told him no need of that and i left. As when i enter into the restaurant some of the staff had already seen a customer is here. And they didnt even send a person to pick the orders.. And the 2 staffs who were inside was so much rude kind of behaviour. I felt really bad!!!!! The most worst service i have experienced for...
Read moreThis is a service review rather than a food review. We had to leave without eating after around 30 minutes of waiting. We went there because someone in our group was heavily influenced by some of the online reviews of this restaurant. First of all, there is no parking or parking assistance. You have to park by the roadside at your own risk. Nobody was there to attend to the customers or ask questions. We reached there around 3:00 PM (with a toddler). And there were at least 20 online delivery guys waiting outside. They kind of parked their bikes and sat on them, checking their phones. Which means they already knew it was going to take some time for their deliveries. Some delivery people were angry because they had been waiting for more than 30–45 minutes. There was a family of old couples waiting outside (they left later without eating). The most irritating thing was their attitude. No one asked us anything, so we had to approach them multiple times to inquire about the seat availability. There were no proper updates. The guy who was sitting outside had no interest in answering the questions. We had to leave because of this attitude. Not only us, but in those 20–30 minutes, multiple folks came and went. What I felt was that either they are some kind of sadist because they get some sort of pleasure by making other people wait, or they are surely not capable of managing such a restaurant. It was clearly shortstaffed. Most of the people who had already gotten inside were also waiting for their food for a longer period of time (that can be seen...
Read moreMy friend and I recently visited the Royal Kitchen hotel, hoping for a pleasant dining experience. However, our expectations were shattered due to the unprofessional behavior of one of the waiters. We decided to change our seat to a more comfortable table after placing our order, but instead of accommodating our request politely, the waiter rudely questioned our decision and mentioned that orders were taken based on tables. Although we brushed off this initial encounter, the situation took a turn for the worse.
After waiting for around 50 minutes, the same waiter approached us again, only to inform us that the food we had ordered was mistakenly delivered to another table. This was incredibly frustrating and disrespectful. It felt as if our time and even our basic respect were disregarded. What made matters worse was that the waiter didn't even bother to offer an apology for the mix-up. We were treated as if we were there to beg, which is completely unacceptable.
We strongly believe that a restaurant of your caliber should take customer service seriously. In light of this disappointing experience, we request a sincere apology from the management. It is crucial to acknowledge the mistakes made and ensure that such incidents do not happen again in the future. We hope you take our feedback into consideration and take appropriate measures to rectify...
