I picked this restaurant for lunch as the pics online looked great and it was close to North ekm railway station but it was a horrible experience. The ambience was ok. But I felt the place lacked something. In my time there of almost 3hrs no other customers came in. I went there with a friend of mine . And we were served by a non keralaite girl who seemed very unpleasant. She even went to the limit of being arrogant in front of us. While I asked another bearer for the restroom. They said it was downstairs and on my way there. The bearer girl saw me and suddenly ran saying in Hindi if my friend was still there. As if we won't pay. I have been to thousands of restaurants which can be seen on my insta. And I have never been treated like this. Why would anyone flgo to a restaurant and leave without paying. Also about the food, I had a fish and chips. The fish was not cooked properly as the batter was still liquid in consistency. The chips were good. Then we ordered a beef wrap which was palatable. The milk shakes were ok. Then we ordered a cheese cake which was also ok and a tiramisu which was not good. All in all guys even if we adjust to the food. The bearer girl was the worst I have seen. We visited this café as a group of around 8 people after watching an Instagram reel that made the place look amazing. And to be fair, the ambiance truly is stunning — definitely a 10/10 for the setting and vibe.

Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

From the moment we arrived, the staff’s behavior was cold and unwelcoming. The lady staff member, in particular, seemed uninterested and made us feel like our presence was inconvenient. It was an uncomfortable experience right from the start.

We ordered juice and French fries first, which took an unusually long time to arrive. When they did, the quality was poor — we’d rate the food about 2 or 3 out of 10. Hoping things might improve, we then ordered a Margarita pizza, expecting at least one decent dish — but sadly, it was just as disappointing as the rest.

The service was terrible — a definite 0/10 — and all eight of us agreed this was one of the worst café experiences we’ve ever had. It’s frustrating because we were really looking forward to it based on what we saw online, but the reality didn’t live up to the hype at all.

Beautiful ambiance, but everything else needs serious...

I recently visited here by watching social media Ad - and that left me with mixed feelings. The ambience was undoubtedly the highlight of my experience—warm, cozy, and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. However, the positives largely end there.

Our first order is seafood chowder soup, it tastes like above average but its texture was like curdled. I didn't see the soup texture like that. Again next is Ceaser salad - they served very much lesser quantity. Then ordered spaghetti, but without any prior notice, I was served penne instead. This was disappointing, as it would have been courteous to inform me of the change beforehand. To add to the frustration, there was an excessive delay in the service, which made the experience less enjoyable.

As for the food, it was average at best. While the ambience sets a high expectation, the taste of the dishes didn't quite live up to it. If you're looking for a place with great vibes, this cafe might be worth a visit. But if food quality and prompt service are a priority for you, it may not meet your...
