Initial Impression (One Year Ago):
A year ago, I had an exceptional dining experience at Pazhampori and Beef. The piping hot pazhampori was crisp on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside, while the aromatic beef dish was tender and flavorful.
Recent Experience (Last Week):
However, upon my recent visit, I was deeply disappointed. The once-beloved establishment has transformed into a dismal junk yard.
Lack of Cleanliness:
The premises were glaringly unclean. Floors were strewn with debris, tables were left unwiped, and the air was thick with a pungent odor. It was immediately evident that basic cleaning practices were neglected.
Abundance of Pests:
Flies and insects swarmed the dining area unabated, landing on food and disrupting our attempts to enjoy our meal. The lack of pest control was a major health concern.
Morning Visit:
My visit was in the morning, a time when one would expect a restaurant to be relatively clean. It was shocking to witness the extent of the filth and disarray, suggesting that even minimal cleaning had not been performed.
Conclusion:
Once a cherished dining destination, Pazhampori and Beef has sadly become a run-down and unsanitary establishment. The lack of cleanliness and the abundance of pests have rendered it unfit for consumption. I strongly advise against patronizing this restaurant until significant improvements are made to ensure a safe and hygienic...
Read more"I recently had the pleasure of trying the combination of beef and pazham pori along with poratta at Sree Muruga Cafe. It was an absolutely delightful culinary experience that left me craving for more. The beef was tender and bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection with just the right blend of spices. It had that authentic, homemade taste that's hard to find in many restaurants. The pazham pori, on the other hand, was a perfect sweet and crispy complement to the savory beef. The bananas were ripe and coated in a light, crunchy batter that was not greasy at all. They provided a delightful contrast to the rich flavors of the beef. The poratta was soft and fluffy, making it an ideal vessel for sopping up the flavorful beef gravy. It was evident that the chefs at Sree Muruga Cafe take great care in crafting their porattas. The combination of these three dishes was a symphony of flavors and textures that left me thoroughly satisfied. I can't recommend this meal enough to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic taste of Kerala cuisine. I'll definitely be returning to Sree Muruga Cafe for more of this delightful culinary...
