Initial Impression (One Year Ago):

A year ago, I had an exceptional dining experience at Pazhampori and Beef. The piping hot pazhampori was crisp on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside, while the aromatic beef dish was tender and flavorful.

Recent Experience (Last Week):

However, upon my recent visit, I was deeply disappointed. The once-beloved establishment has transformed into a dismal junk yard.

Lack of Cleanliness:

The premises were glaringly unclean. Floors were strewn with debris, tables were left unwiped, and the air was thick with a pungent odor. It was immediately evident that basic cleaning practices were neglected.

Abundance of Pests:

Flies and insects swarmed the dining area unabated, landing on food and disrupting our attempts to enjoy our meal. The lack of pest control was a major health concern.

Morning Visit:

My visit was in the morning, a time when one would expect a restaurant to be relatively clean. It was shocking to witness the extent of the filth and disarray, suggesting that even minimal cleaning had not been performed.

Conclusion:

Once a cherished dining destination, Pazhampori and Beef has sadly become a run-down and unsanitary establishment. The lack of cleanliness and the abundance of pests have rendered it unfit for consumption. I strongly advise against patronizing this restaurant until significant improvements are made to ensure a safe and hygienic...

"I recently had the pleasure of trying the combination of beef and pazham pori along with poratta at Sree Muruga Cafe. It was an absolutely delightful culinary experience that left me craving for more. The beef was tender and bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection with just the right blend of spices. It had that authentic, homemade taste that's hard to find in many restaurants. The pazham pori, on the other hand, was a perfect sweet and crispy complement to the savory beef. The bananas were ripe and coated in a light, crunchy batter that was not greasy at all. They provided a delightful contrast to the rich flavors of the beef. The poratta was soft and fluffy, making it an ideal vessel for sopping up the flavorful beef gravy. It was evident that the chefs at Sree Muruga Cafe take great care in crafting their porattas. The combination of these three dishes was a symphony of flavors and textures that left me thoroughly satisfied. I can't recommend this meal enough to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic taste of Kerala cuisine. I'll definitely be returning to Sree Muruga Cafe for more of this delightful culinary...

This is a small outlet serving both veg and non veg dishes. But the taste is yum. Even though I am a veg, my friend enjoyed the breakfast with non veg food at 7.00 AM. Taste you should not miss. Just near the mini byepass Tripunithrua Kochi.Everyone can try for good and tasty foods here. fresh and hot dishes are always available. Varieties of foods are available. When im there i would like to have Tapioca thats my fav dish with some spicy curries.Sree muruga is famous for its combination of Pazham Pori and beaf curry which is very tasty and is a variety combination. Other local food too available here.I visited The Sree Muruga Cafe on the way to Nucleus mall two years back and the food seemed to be tasty and the restaurant was crowded with youngsters. They have slightly modified the restaurant and serve Chinese dishes too in addition to the traditional South Indian dishes like biriyani, porotta, chicken dishes, beef roast, masala dosa, ghee roast, Kerala snacks etc. Tasty food and...

We visited Sri Muruga Cafe in Thrippunithura in the morning, hoping to try their popular pazhampori-beef combo. Unfortunately, we were a bit too early for that. Instead, we opted for uzhunnu vada with beef and appam with beef, accompanied by their special tea. The beef was flavorful and well-cooked, though we did find a few chow chow (chayote) pieces mixed in, which some might find unusual. The uzhunnu vada was crisp and freshly made, and the appam was soft and paired well with the curry. Tea was strong and satisfying — a perfect companion to the breakfast. The restaurant was neat and clean with a calm ambiance, and their dining area was comfortable and welcoming. However, parking was a bit of a hassle, especially during peak hours, as space is quite limited. Overall, it was a pleasant breakfast experience. We'll definitely be back — hopefully at the right time to try that pazhampori-beef combo next time!
