I buy takeouts from this place regularly for my uncle who is really unwell when I'm staying in petta . My initial thoughts were good. But today I ordered uthappam with sambar and red chutni parcel, when I received the takeout, it was onion uthappam instead of normal one. I asked the server about it, they blamed each other and the server who took the order straight up ignored me. I asked the person in the reception who I think is the owner, he says there is nothing he can do and said I should have placed the order at the reception. Every single person there make their order to the servers. (Just to mention my uncle is a really picky and doesn't like onion uthappam )

Totally decieved me. No value for regular customers. I even knew some of the servers and tipped them every time I went there. Even they turned a blind eye. I thought of arguing with them but then I thought why waste my time on these guys.

Also normal uthappam is Rs.35...

Stopped here en route to Kochi for our morning breakfast based on the recommendation of a colleague that you'll get a good breakfast here. Ordered ghee roast, plain dosa, idly, vadas and tea! Ghee roast was really good, crisp and hot! Idlies was actually soft and fluffy. Loved their orange colour chutney that comes with two. Plain dosa was good two. Tea was perfect!! Here's where I had my issue with the place:

1. The sambhar was really diluted and cold, like there was only water.
2. Vadas were cold and felt stale.
3. The waiter serving the dishes or taking orders felt absent minded and served like he didn't care about the experience of the customer, rudely just put the plate in front of the customer.

Trust me, the place has good pure vegetarian food but few things here and there caused me to rate it a bit lower. Hope they...
