I did not know Bread World and HOST are now, one and the same! If that's not pleasantly surprising, then try their red velvet cookies; and if those don't pleasantly surprise you, then just give up worldly pleasures and become a saint.
I bought Wheat Bread, multi-grain bread, salad dressing and cookies from this store. Pleased to say I was satisfied with all the items.
They make their own Bread and cookies. When it comes to cheese, olive oil, etc., there are other brands too.
They also sell pastries, angry-bird cupcakes, etc. I like the fact that these items are kept far away from the entrance. Coz usually when you open the door to a bakery, it's like "Boom! Welcome to Diabetes Clubhouse. Try em all, buy em all. Frosting for Life \m/ !" Meanwhile, HOST, considerately, presents the healthy options first.
The store is easy to locate, right alongside the main road. Enough parking space. Do visit and check out...
Read moreThis newly opened bread world outlet is a small place for all that you would need for your pastry cravings . Though the store is small , it’s well spaced out. The store features a small parking space in the front and can accommodate about 3 cars. This outlet has all that you would want from a bakery starting from biscuits , cookies, cakes and pastries . They also have some juice in store. Withholding a star for the fact that I felt the store could have more products to choose from. In other words there should be more selection. Overall a decent experience 👍
This edit is after my recent visit to Bread world in Feb 22. They have now an added section for food related products. They have extended the store and it is now bigger. You will get additional items like sauces , more varieties of juices , frozen items like nuggets , sausages etc also. This definitely is a must try if you are...
Read moreBeing such a reputed chain, and from previous experiences from good outlets, I visited the maradu/petta outlet. Utterly disappointing. The staff is disinterested and has zero knowledge about the stuff on sale at the store. They gave stale pastries not one but 6 of them and that too the staff didn't even once try to tell that they were stale. The worst part is that they billed me for extra items which I never took* I realised this when I came home and looked at the bill). On telephonically complaining about the stale pastry and extra billing, the staff didn't even have a solution to my inconvenience. I suggest everyone to steer away from pastries and cakes here. The snacks are good though. I won't be returning here. The management needs to meticulously train their staff and at all costs avoid...
