Capuchin Mess is a vision of Capuchin monks to feed the most deserving people. It is a humble space without special seating, available for all beyond class distinctions. They provide vegetarian meals and breakfast at a cost of Rs 40 and 20 , and though there are no cashiers, you can drop payment in the post box near the outer dining area if you wish. The mess can accommodate 16 people at a time. Simply grab a plate near the service counter, and a volunteer will serve you food. Feel free to ask for more, but please avoid wastage as it could feed another person. Once seated, water will be provided on the table, or you can pick up a glass from the side station and find an available seat.
Father Bobby's presence is sometimes seen in the mess, engaging in tasks like washing, clearing plates, wiping tables, or even serving curd with love ❤️
