When I em writing this Review em here in Same loadge. Firstly these people, have a lack of patience. They don't know to communicate in a decent way, shouting is the only thing they know. Secondly, one of my friend had booked the room, offline, 1 week before of my arrival. They agreed for the stay for 3 continuous days, Saturday I arrived in the night by 11.30, the incharge person, Forced me to take AC room, which was 1200rs. I had no option n agreed to it. Morning they asked me to vacate the room n go else where. I was shocked n asked them that I had a reservation for 3 days. Then they spoke to each other in Malayalam and asked me to shift to the other building. Here the other building construction was incomplete at the entrance, though the room was completed. They charged me 3000rs for 2 days. They demanded me to pay by cash, I denied and paid through G PAY. I have a G pay transaction proof of payment. Now they asked me, at 11 night, to shift to some other room. Where should I go in the midnight? I don't know Malayalam language. To whom should I say this ? The guys looks little scary, I have locked the room n won't open till morning.
I em a crazy solo female Traveler, and have seen places / hotels / lodges but this Time, em not feeling safe. I have visited Trivandrum for 3 times, stayed in 2 , 3 star lodge. The services and ambience were good. But this time, unfortunately could not get the same star hotels, due to festival booking. With no other option I booked this,Udupi hotel and lodge, And revealing there TRUE colors now.
I can afford star hotels and I can leave this issue rite now, but how about other people who r coming from different states, without knowing the language, many elderly people, who don't know about social media reviews, WHAT IF THEY FACE THIS SITUATION?????? They end up paying extra money coz they have no option left. These peolles license should be cancelled immediately for making such a mess, with a female. Please be careful n cautious before booking this stupid lodge. Unable to Tag / share the screenshot of my payment.....hotel room...... The front half construction...
Read moreI agree to what another reviewer, Manish Sahoo has told here. I had a similar experience in this restaurant when I went there last month. The waiter boy named Sultan was plain rude to us and he just threw the menu at us as if he was protesting us coming to dine there. that was the first shock which we did not take serious as he was a youngster. Then, when we had ordered Bhatura and veg uttapam etc, they were taking very long to serve. So we asked what was the issue to the same boy. He replied to us that none of the things we ordered were there which he did not tell to us until then. then we asked several of the menu items for alll of which his reply was not there, not there, not there. then I asked what is there. he blurted some thing intelligible and then we agreed to plain old dosas. Althru out these exchanges, this boy seemed very angry that we were there. It was a terrible experience to be treated like this not knowing what the issue was. We had not asked this boy his name until last while we were going. then we came to know that his name was Sultan. So I am guessing, he treats Hindu folks like this there. we had came from a temple nearby which was obvious from our tilaks, so it was racism ...I am afraid to say this, but...
