First of all the ambience is excellent, the roof top provides unique ambience with amazing views. The seating is cozy, and comfortable. There are different sets of seating from 2 seaters to group 10, 12 seaters. But the main thing is seat availability, if you need a seat reserve it somehow or else you would end your weekend by staring at the diners eating food. The dining area is a bit clumsy, as there proportion of seating to the number of visitors is very different. The one thing i hate about this place is this shouldn't be your choice for dining, kindly go someplace else, if you are just one or two in number, as the seating availability for small numbers are non existential. Or you would end up in the smoking room amidst some random guys who smokes like hell, extremely difficult for someone who doesn't smoke. There is also a small performance space for your band and troupes to perform in front of the diners. The other cool thing about this cafe is the indoor games available like foosball, and pool billiards for example, which is still a very rare and unique feature considering other cafes Now food, which is usually hit or miss, and is extremely subjective, i suggest eager folks to try it out yourself. You can expect all kinds of mumbo jumbo dishes that you probably want as they have a very large menu. And the service is also fine nothing great or exceptional but nothing bad. Now price, since the area is flooded with IT sector and offices, techies are more than happy to spend money for the worthy ambience. Its very worthy for the people who gets seating and likes the food, for others it would feel overpriced. For context, if i recollect 2 normal orange juice alone without any shenanigans (including GST) would be in between Rs 220 - Rs 280, which may seem fine to some people but is not to the majority. But the views can justify the price if you really want to. Overall cool place, should definitely...
Read moreThe ambience is the only thing that I felt good about. I am a vegetarian so would be reviewing regarding veg options and dishes more. I ordered "cheese yum nuggets", clearly thinking of it to be cheesy as the name suggests as there were other options for chicken and tandoori nuggets. But what I got was chicken nuggets and when I told them that I ordered cheese nuggets, the waitress went inside and Grated some processed cheese over it and gave it to me. Clearly there is a miscommunication between the menu, the waiters and the cook is what I felt. For the main course I ordered "cheesy pasta". Thee were 2 confusing options- cheesy pasta and creamy pasta. And I thought since creamy pasta is made from refined flour+butter roux, I thought they have to inevitably add cheese in cheesy pasta. To my dismay, the pasta was slather with roux and I couldn't get a tinge of butter or cheese taste. Trust me I know my food and I cook-an amateur but my taste buds don't lie. The roux was undercooked and the vegetables they had was capsicum and capsicum only and they were raw.. it has to be half cooked not raw. I hope everyone knows about the ready to cook pasta[maggie/yippee etc] , I feel that with a bit of butter it tastes far better than the paste of a cream they have served. And now about the non-veg.. my husband is a non vegetarian and he ordered american choupseuy.. it was soooo sweet and had loaadsss of pineapple that he had to leave the dish after taking a few bites. We are the kind who hate wasting food. He ordered pepper squid which was descent though. The chef is very bad at the job is the final verdict I...
