FOOD POISONING.

Got food here waiting for train to Trivandrum. Had the Chicken 65, Kottayam Achayans Irachi Pidi Kizhi, Gulab Jamon with Ice Cream, Fruit Salad with Ice Cream and Pineapple Juice.

The food tasted alright. Ordinary food nothing special but nothing bad. The juice was fresh and tasted very nice. Dessert was alright. Unfortunately, a few hours after eating this meal I had terrible diarrhoea and stomach cramps. So it is obvious that there is a hygiene issue at this kitchen. If you are wondering how I am sure it is this restaurant the reason follows. This is the only meal I had today as I was travelling from Bangaram at 8am (no breakfast), flight at 12 midday from Agatti (no snacks or drinks other than bottled water), I ate this meal at 4pm then got a train at 5pm from Kochi for 4 hours to Trivandrum, finally arriving into my wife’s parents house at 11pm had a shower and tried to sleep and then boom! So I only ate one meal all day so the only culprit can be this restaurant. Can this restaurant please take this review seriously as the food poisoning I experienced can only be from your restaurant. Can you ensure all staff wash hands, all meat is stored properly, all surfaces cleaned properly and all water...

Turned out to be quite a disappointing experience. While the ambience was pleasant, the service and food quality left much to be desired.

I ordered chicken fried rice and chilly chicken, but the wait time was frustrating. It took over 30 minutes for the fried rice to arrive, and an additional 5 minutes for the chilly chicken. Even something as simple as hot water had to be asked for twice before I was finally given a glass.

The chicken fried rice was an absolute letdown. Despite its decent appearance, there was not a single piece of chicken in it. Worse, the rice was cold and had clumps of unbroken rice, indicating a lack of basic effort in preparation. As for the chilly chicken, it tasted nothing like what it should—it was basically chicken in ketchup.

When I brought up my concern about the fried rice to the waiter, he simply said he would talk to the chef, but no action was taken to resolve the issue.
