The temple is large. Men do not have to take off their shirts to enter inside. The fragrance of the tilak received was very unique and calming. I liked it so much that it was the highlight of my visit. 😌 Inside the temple main shrines are of Bhagwan Mahadev Shivji, Sri Ma Parvatiji. Also some other shrines from which I was able to identify Ganeshji, Kartikeyan Swami, Ayyappan Swami and Sri Narayan. Outside the temple there is Nagraj Shrine and Yagyashala. Yajna was going on, and kajal like tilak was kept outside, which I presume must be ash of the previous havan. I really appreciated that. Since the sabrimala pilgrimage season is going on, there was also a puja area and a shrine of Swami Ayyappan for same in the temple courtyard.
Suggestions: I wish there was some seating area to wear shoes after taking off. Also I wish that the names of deities and list of puja services and all were also written in English along with malayalam so that people who can't read malayalam can understand. The best highlight of this temple it's purely based on the Hindu ideology....anyone who is a devotee can enter the temple irrespective of their caste,gender ,age etc.....
The main idols are Shiva and parvathy .....besides them there are lord Ganapathy. Lord ayyappa, Lord subrahmania and goddess chamundi.....Lord nagaraja and nagayakshi are in the chuttambalam.....
A very big homappura is there to conduct ganapathy homams
