During our recent visit to Zains Food Court, we were pleasantly surprised to discover an authentic culinary gem - the homemade Thalassery Dum Biryani.
Zains Food Court might not boast extravagant decor, but its homely ambiance adds to the charm of the dining experience. The cozy atmosphere allowed us to focus solely on the delightful flavors of the biryani.

Read moreI went there after reading such glorious reviews of the biryani but to my surprise this was the worst biryani I ever had.
First of all the rice used was Ration rice (not even full rice) not basmati, second of all the chicken was uncooked, third of all it had absolutely no flavour. Up north we make masala rice much more tastier than this.
I read couple of comments for every biryani lover its must try. PLEASE do not fall for this if you have truly tasted biryani from any other brands (behrouz, biryani by kilo, Bade Miyan) or places (Lucknow, Hyd, even Maharashtra for that matter)
What they make isnt biryani.
With regards to service I was visiting first time and ordered biryani and chicken roast and ordered 2 chapati no kerela parota or appam available. I was asked by owner will you have only 2 since we are busy so we will not be able to serve more later. I was shocked by the response as it was 8pm and not so crowded either. I politely responded I will only know once I eat the 2. There goes your customer exp.
PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR REVIEWS I THINK THESE ARE PAID REVIEW...
Read moreThe Best Biryani in Munnar and the Kerala Biryani I ever had. Don't judge a book by its cover. The place seems to be small (running in a house) but the Biryani tastes so authentic with aromatic flavours of spices and even the jeera Samba rice. The chichken pieces are juicy and the best part is the masala is no food colour/dalda is added. Even if we don't use a handwash after finishing the biriyani the hands are not sticky since nondalda is added. Don't miss to try when you visit Munnar.
The owner is a very friendly and courteous guy. We went on Good Friday/Vishu weekend and didn't find any restaurant nearby. Even the restaurant in the resort we stayed was not available. We somehow found this and went with zero expectation. To our surprise it not only filled our stomach but also our hearts. Such a satisfying dinner in our whole 4 day trip. Thanks a lot chetta for providing such a great food oven hot and that too in...
