Since we were staying at their hotel (The Panoramic Getaway) we decided to eat out here, we arrived at about 9.30 pm (an hour before they close), the host was friendly and accommodating and offered us to sit outside and we obliged, but the guests on the neighboring table were absolutely loud, obnoxious and as disturbing without consideration for others as humanly possible and we decided to dine-in inside.

We ordered the Cream of Mushroom Soup INR 295 Desi Non-Veg Combo INR 845 (Chutneywala murgh and mutton chapli kebab served with rumali roti, plain pulao, butter chicken, Raitha, and mint chutney) and a Garden Veggie Pizza INR 545 (Sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, tomatoes, red onions, roasted garlic, and olives).

The soup was promptly served, hot, very flavorful, very soothing, we loved the soup. Then immediately came the non veg combo, the mutton chapli kebab, pulao and butter chicken was absolutely fabulous, so was the raitha and mint chutney. However the rumali roti served along with the combo (3 pieces rolled up) was quite chewy, perhaps not kneaded enough, apart from the rumali roti the non veg combo was really good and we absolutely enjoyed it, especially the pulao that was beautiful flavored.

The pizza however was very chewy, I had requested for extra cheese which was done accordingly, but as we first ate the non veg combo the pizza turned cold and we managed to eat just 2 pieces.

Overall the restaurant is quite good, nice atmosphere with ambient warm lighting, decent music with a few posters of the reggae king Bob Marley (RIP).

If not for the pizza, would have given a 5 star.

Will definitely visit again to try out other things during a trip to munnar.

We paid a total of INR 1,998/- including taxes which...

100/100 experience. Food options are great, quality quantity and taste are excellent. There is no physical menu but the web-menu is very easy to navigate and has sufficient descriptions.

Service is quick, and they stick to the timings they promise.

All the service staff are very polite, and our waiter Paul was extremely courteous and did an exemplary job.

The atmosphere cannot be beat. It is a lovely place both in the day and night. The view is stunning, and the place itself is gorgeous.

Both indoor and outdoor seating is very nicely done. Smoking is allowed outside, ashtrays on request.

The beverages (Tea especially) was great. Mocktails are a tad sweet, so amend the order as per your liking.

Washrooms are very clean.

The place also has wifi on offer. The crockery used is very unique and gives an additional nice feel to the overall experience.

We went in for a coffee and a snack and ended up staying for 4 hours and had 2 meals and multiple rounds of tea.

There is no alcohol, but that adds to the charm since there isn't any boisterous or loud crowd attracted to the place.

They play nice 2000s bubblegum pop in the afternoon, and classic rock in the evenings. Super...

Visit this place for the view and atmosphere. Situated inside The Panoramic Gateway hotel, this place is your quintessential cafe in Chithirapuram, Munnar.

The views are just amazing. Clear mountains, mist and clouds and a panoramic view of the valley.

The prices are on the higher side because it is a fine dining place. We ordered soup and pizza and it cost us around ₹1300 ($16.25) for the same.

The service is not that prompt in my opinion. When we visited the restaurant it was all empty and we were along for the first 10 minutes until a foreign couple arrived. Then also it took them almost 20 minutes to prepare and 25-30 minutes to serve soup to us.

The food is great. The soup specially. One of the best. Fresh ingredients, fresh taste. On the other side I think pizza could have been better given they charge an extra 18% GST on your bills excluding the menu price.

Overall a place you can visit if your budget allows it to try some great food with a...

Must try in Munnar! This place offers delectable food alongwith a beautiful panaromic view of the hills. If you're looking for a break from the Indian cuisine, would definitely recommend you to check this one out. We tried their cheesy nachos which was true to its name. While the nachos by themselves could have been better, the salsa and the sour cream elevated the nachos enough. Garlic bread had the right texture and the taste, crumbled with a bite and had the nice warm garlic flavor to it. We also tried their pizza. While the toppings were generous, and bread was soft and fluffy, the pizza was only good, partly because the toppings lacked a bit in flavor. It was still a good meal though.. In drinks, they don't have alcoholic beverages. We tried their spicy guava pinch which definitely had a punch. The Red apple sunset was another drink, nice and refreshing, although a bit high on the ice content.
