I dont usually post restaurant reviews but after such a disastrous experience, I simply had to. First of all, clueless waiters. They dont want to serve the customers, they hide near the toilet playing on their phones. And when they finally go to the customer…they can’t even speak malayalam/english. I ordered a kanthari al fahm for 160 after the waiter told me it includes rice. But they served it without rice so I had to return it and get a kuzhimandhi. And the kuzhimandhi….oo my god. The moment i lifted the chicken’s skin I almost puked because of the rotten smell. It looked stale and had a terrible foul smell. I usually finish everything on my plate whenever I eat but this was the first time i had to leave a restaurant with plenty of food on my plate. I would love to rate their hygiene but I can’t because it’s non existent. Once we accepted the huge mistake we made by choosing this restaurant…we decided to order some soda drink to leave with a good taste in our mouth and ordered lime soda. Waiter serves us a lime juice…asked him to take it back and give us lime soda…again…comes with lime juice. If you’re thinking of eating from this place…i would suggest you to avoid this place and instead go somewhere where they know how to run...
Read moreThis will be a mixed review, Firstly, the location is easily accessible, which is convenient. Ordered shawai for dine in, I must admit, I'm not a fan of restaurants serving mayo and chutneys on a single plate as it tends to mix together.
One of the standout aspects of this place is its ambiance. I'm a big fan of low ambient lighting, and it really added to the atmosphere. The tables and seating arrangements were suitable for the interior, though I did notice some food leftovers stuck on the table when it was being cleaned. This issue was resolved when brought to their attention.
On the downside, parking is a bit cramped, which can be frustrating, especially during busy times. However, the worst part of my experience was the leakage from the AC vents. Water was dripping onto our table, and despite our complaint, it seemed like the staff didn't take it seriously. It's disappointing when such issues are neglected, and I hope they address this maintenance issue promptly.(and guys it was the seat second to the right in the ac seating).
Overall, this place has its strengths, particularly in terms of ambiance, but there are clear areas for improvement, especially in service and maintenance. It's worth a visit if you're...
Read moreOverall very good experience for me. I've been going here since 6 months.I Never had a bad experience from there. Super food with value of money and my personal opinion is the best Arabian food available in Cochin is "ZESTI". I personally like the "KUZHI MANDHI" , "SHAWARMA" & "AL FAHAM". "AL FAHAM" is totally different from what we usually have in restaurants. Juices are too good.Food is served in a large quantities and has consistent taste every time you check in. Every items prepared here are live and safe to eat.The COMBO offered were tasty as well as satisfying. In Zesti AC & some sort of dark,it is really a romantic place. We have to go there by solo or with friends or with family or with boy/girl friend. Service was fast and the waiters were polite and good at serving. Majlis: I love the concept of majlis.Of you're going as a family you will get a private room with cushion on the floor. Parking space is bit limited in peak time. They also provide home delivery, usually delivers in 25 min and they are open from 12 pm till 12 am.So it's a good option when you out for a late night drive.
From the bottom of my heart really I loved it...... Thanks to all...
