Absolute Barbecues has already achieved a lot of appreciation from Kolkata's people after launching their first outlet at Saltlake but it was not enough. We wished more outlets to fulfill our cravings.So this is really a good news for foodies to gather more experiences in this branch.A lot of dishes from different cuisines you will get under one roof in this buffet.

Firstly they serve their famous starters (both veg and non veg)of paneer, Pineapple,Corn, Mushroom,Fish, Prawn, Chicken and many more as your wish.Personally I liked their special crispy corn, Tandoori Paneer Tikki,Kasundi Prawn. Complementary drink is just for one time.

You will get a lot of options from Main course in this buffet.Their Prawn Malaicurry is my always favourite.Besides that I liked Chicken Butter Masala,Paneer Kadhai along with Kolkata styled Chicken Biryani.You will get also a combo of Basanti Pulao and Mutton Kosha.Must try this.

Everybody is known about their wish grill section.A lot of exotic veg(Bamboo Shoots, Jalapeno) and non veg items(Shark,Quial, Octopus,Duck)you can try and even you can cook these with your favourite ingredients in this section.I tried Duck meat and it was really a great experience for me.Besides this you will get chaat section which includes Phuchka,Dahi Vada, Pasta , Pizza of your choice.I tried their special Keema pao which was yummy.Try this atleast once.

And at the last the dessert section.From Kolkata special Misti Doi to various kinds of tiny, beautiful pastry, pudding, healthy fruits all you will get.After this royal eating don't miss their Rasogolla,Angoori GulaabJamun,Jalebi for a better end.Here you can also make your own choice of ice-cream roll at...

👉Great news guys second outlet of Absolute Barbecues has finally opened in Kolkata and this is located in the same building of the passport office at Ruby Crossing just above the passport office on the 1st Floor.

I was being invited at the pre-launch and here is what we have to say about this food chain which has 42 outlets in India and 2 in Dubai!

They are well organized and were being warm welcome us and their hospitality and fast service makes me more comfortable and enjoyable while having food.AB'S as a buffet brand is growing in different levels all over the Country and the secret to this is definitely their passion towards food. Absolute Barbecue offers a unique 'do-it-yourself' dining experience where diners grill on the Table, their choice of Meat, Seafood and Vegetables starters served on skewers to their preference. A central live grill known as "Wish Grill" is also present where they have typically a few veg dishes/meat/veg choices exclusively for wish-grill where customers could come and get their dish done the way they wish.

There you will find more than 100+ items you won't be able to taste all at the same time.Their different counters from mocktails,sea food,icecream won't keep you be seated along the table to taste all of it. I personally tasted this all including mocktails you will find the picture below with Tandoori Paneer Tikka, Kashmiri Veg Tikki, Abs Crispy Corn, Cajun Potato, Mutton Seekh Kebab, Reshmi Murgh Tikka and Chicken Tandoori Tangri to dessert like Rosogolla, Gulab Jamun,milkcakes ,jelabi,mikcakes pastry,phirni,,chilli ice cream , to many more.

The place is as good as it actually look like.. AB's is not just a place or a restaurant, it's an experience... And one will be none short of that if they visit AB's at 781 Anandapur, Ruby More...

Just like any other experience, this also has a flaw... Unfortunately, in this case, the experience starts with the flaw!!! Wait time!!! Usually AB's is crowded always and you'll get a high wait time if you're booking for the second slot any meal.. Although we had a booking for 9pm dinner, it took us another 15 mins to finally get a table.. please keep in mind that you need to be here at least 20 mins before your designated slot just to make sure that you're on top of the "arrived" guest list for that slot... We arrived at 8:30 for our 9pm slot and were top of the list and hence we got an "early" table by 9:15..😅😅

Once you have your table, things just go upwards from there.. the barbeque sets in with the smoking hot grill and the mouth-watering snack items of the evening.. they have multiple options for both the veg and non-veg dishes.. along with this you'll get some other special items delivered to your table which can't be put onto a grill.. And if you're visiting during any special festival time, you'll get even more items on starters and main course..

Then they have a special live counter which again contains various items on both veg and non-veg fronts... They also have a bar for those who are always ready for an alcoholic or non-alcoholic sips... And they also have a live ice cream counter to top it up where if you know your flavours, you can get the best icecream!!!! Apart from these live counters, they have a dedicated section for main course which consists of a lot of varieties spreading over multiple cuisines and also a dedicated space for desserts!!!

After you've actually browsed through all th items available and taste whatever you wanted, the bill will never look too big.. which most people find to be quite expensive before experiencing...
