Azad Hind Dhaba is a two-faced restaurant. Dining there is fine - Average food, cozy atmosphere, some waiters are rude while some are awesome, more than usual waiting time. So 1 star for that. Online food ordering is a completely different issue: You order food item A, item B will arrive. Multiple instances - latest ones being getting naan instead of masala kulcha and getting shredded chicken when it was CLEARLY mentioned 3 pieces in the Zomato/Swiggy menu. Suppose you're having a group of people at your house, you order X 'PIECES' of Chicken Butter Masala... and you get an abomination of Chicken Bharta. On being called (oh, that too after 10 mins. or 6-7 tries of calling) they first disagreed that the wrong item had been delivered. They insisted that BUTTER CHICKEN IS NOW SHREDDED... BREAKING NEWS. Customer dissatisfaction has led to butter chicken being shredded. I can almost hear a million Punjabi dhabas cry from a distance. Then they said the shop had incurred a HUGE LOSS by delivering BONELESS BUTTER CHICKEN when they should've delivered one with bone (we had ordered Boneless 'Butter Chicken Masala (3 pieces)' on Zomato). At this point of the phone call, I lost it. This happened today and the naan incident happened a few weeks back. The service is quick. Pretty quick considering the dishes we ordered couldn't have been pre-prepared.

The ambience is nice and clean. A perfect place for a dinner with family. Nice and spacious.

The food tasted quite average nothing extraordinary for the price, the prices aren't too high but compared to the price they are surely not up to the mark. Even the bread - naan was too tough and burnt. The peas pulao was too oily and it lacked the nice aroma of a pulao. Even the butter paneer lacked butter and the sahi paneer tasted just normal and nothing that would tickle your taste buds. The biriyani tasted good but the chicken was tough and even though we asked them for a leg piece specifically they served us a breast piece. In short the food is really average.

The drawback at this place would be that the waiters don't listen carefully what you're ordering and get you something wrong. That was a huge disappointment. They also charged us wrong amount for the naan and told us the prices have changed and the menu cards are old. This was...
