Bonoful — Restaurant in Kolkata

Entally, CIT Road has scores of street food stalls, and bakery and cake shops. Bonoful is a new addition to that list. It was inaugurated just a few months back. It offers a wide range of delicacies. Starting from chicken pizza to various pastries to chocolate and ice-cream, you will find all the comestibles expected in a decent bakery shop in Kolkata. As winter is winding down, cravings for ice-cream will be intensified and this small shop has a range of ice-creams on offer. I frequent this place for evening snacks. Today I had a chicken samosa, a chicken cutlet and a rum ball to satiate my taste buds with a hot cup of Darjeeling tea! The samosa was massive in size. It was replete with succulent chicken pieces. Hot tea and piping hot samosa are a heavenly combination. The chicken cutlet was tasty and easily melted in mouth. You can ravenously devour the chicken with every bite of the cutlet. The rum ball was deliciously chocolatey. I brought these delicacies for evening snacks, but eventually I will have to skip dinner. I have truly eaten to excess. They purvey these comestibles at competitive prices. As I have already mentioned, CIT Road is speckled with food stalls—the competition is stiff. Mio Amore, Sugar and Spice and other takeaways are there in the close proximity of Bonoful. They have just started their journey and I wish them all the luck. Bonoful is a newly opened confectionery at CIT ROAD. They are serving a wide range of items starting from patties, chocolates, birthday cakes and so on. Recently, I tried a few items which includes Chicken Kebab Roll, Chicken German Bread, Chicken Cutlet & Paneer Jalebis. The kebab roll wasn't extremely good. It was simple and similar to the ones we get at local cake shops. The Cutlet was better-was crisp as well as soft. My favorite was the German Bread. It was very soft & delicious.
