One of the worst, absolutely worst lunch experiences I have had in the city. To begin with there is a huge spacial problem, to tackle this they have expanded the dining area by adding another room, which is quite claustrophobic, doesn't even have AC, only one wall mounted fan. It has 2 plastic tables with 4 chairs each, the tables have paper covering it, dirty filled with stains from food and what not. Setup similar to one we see in middle class Bengali weddings, only worse. This is where we were made to sit at at the beginning, if not our option was the sit in the waiting area and have our food while holding it in our hand. After a little while, we saw a table getting empty in the main dining area(which has four tables) and asked the waiters if we could move, they agreed and so we did. There were 3 chairs at that particular table and we were two people. Shortly after thar comes along the manager, who started behaving extremely rudely with us saying that table is meant for groups of 4 only, the funny bit being the previous diners were also two people. We did not move and after a huge wait the food was served. During this waiting period, we had to go through hell. The manager after behaving rudely with us went onto the waiters and cashier and started yelling at them uncontrollably for letting us sit at that table. He is in fact barely a manager, he looks, talks and behaves more like a "gunda" of a political party. All of his yelling killed not only our appetite but also that of other diners. We were contemplating whether to just leave after the harrasment we had to endure, but decided to stay and eat the food, that came 30 mins after the ordeal. Now coming to the food, we ordered a chineese combo(noodles and chilli chicken) and an Indian combo(pulao and chicken kosha). The noodles I would rate 5/10. It was oily and tasted okay, more like street noddles. The chilli chicken I would rate 6.5/10. The pulao was the WORST. It was uneatable. I would rate that 1/10. It was reeking of stale sunflower oil and ghee, had no taste whatsoever. We couldn't even have it, had to throw it away as it would make us sick. There was 3 chicken pieces mentioned in the menu, but all we got were 3 small pieces of bone with barely any chicken on it, with gravy which was also extremely bad. 1/10
Throughout the horrible lunch that we had, the managed kept talking to the waiters and cashier angrily, staring at us at all times, standing behind us and literally breathing down our necks. It was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've had in any resturant. I hope whoever the owner is reads this and deals with that person who has been left incharge. I wouldn't want anyone else going throught such an experience there, it...

Read moreAt first to say about the cafe that it has two parts of dine in section, the front one is likely to attract more people but the one we sat in was (the back dine in place) had the ambience of a wedding, dine place. Next to say about service (it was very poor). A set of cutlery has been given in the front dine in section but absent in the back one. We ordered the 99@ combo of Basanti pulao and chicken kasha with chutney Veg rice with chilli chicken and 2 pcs of chicken fried momo Quantity is good but quality is very poor and by "poor" I mean it The main thing is "salt" that's the only thing I could taste Only the pulao was of no salt but rice boiled with turmeric powder in it. No cutlery is provided with the dish and had to ask for one but we're given "serving spoon" instead of normal one. They served everything on a paper plate, which even normal people know that will get soggy with the gravy item and when I tried to take gravy with that "serving spoon" the paper plate started to come out with the spoon. To pay the bill you need to get up and go to the counter by yourself. Bad...
