The Beanshot Cafe — Restaurant in Kolkata

"Eat Clean to stay fit, have a Burger to stay sane." Well, it's been a while that I was looking for the best burger in town and then finally, "The Beanshot Cafe" hit my radar. Located in Patuli, Just opposite to 45 Bus Stand, this place is quite famous for its innovative Burgers and Coffee. Staff service is quite satisfactory. I was really astonished to receive such warm hospitality in this outlet. Nevertheless, the good news is they have recently launched a #PujoSpecialMenu which have a plethora of delicious delicacies.

Food Review

Spicy Guava: The mocktail was made from fresh Guava Juice which at the same time have the spicy flavor of Tobasco sauce. I really like the flavor and would recommend everyone to try this out.

Honey Glazed Chicken Wings: The chicken wings are tenderly cooked and seasoned with Soya sauce. The pieces were totally crispy and covered with honey. The sweet and chili flavor was mouth-watering.

Chicken Melany: The chicken pieces were tenderly soft and covered with a layer of cheese and topped with some freshly

The Sin Burger: As the same suggest, the burger has some unique features which deserve special attention. The burger patty has pork, chicken, lamb, and fried egg topping. Served with some fries, this burger is one of the special items of there menu.

Illegal Pork Avalanche: If you really want to do justice with your appetite then trust me, this is the best thing which you can avail. This comes with four-layer of Pork Patty along with lettuce, Cheese Slices, Jalapeno, Poached Egg, Cheese Sauce, and Onion Rings, served with some fries.

Lamb Keema Steak: Among, the main course items, this was my favorite. The steak was made from Lamb Keema and it tasted extremely delicious. The dish was perfectly cooked and the flavor was quite balanced.

Pork Chops: The Pork pieces were tenderly cooked and were extremely soft. The dish was served with a red hot sauce made with pork.

California Chicken Steak: I really like the preparation. The steak was covered with a green Thai sauce which made the dish taste divine.

Tutti Frutti Slider: Now this is something we should talk about. The dessert was served in a tall glass containing a huge variety of desert fruits and ice cream. The topping was extremely delicious.

Oreo Cheese Cake: If you are a fan of cheesecakes then is the ideal dessert for you over here. The cheesecake is served on a chocolate crust along with a dressing of chocolate sauce and oreo biscuit.

THE BEANSHOT CAFE another hidden gem of the town. This cafe was on my wishlist since a long time, last month we had visited this place.

Ambience- This place is so small harly accomodate 10-15 people. But they do maintain this place so properly and make the ambience too good. This cafe also has an outside small seating area. Decor is on the top notch.

Service- Staffs are very polite and helpful. service was quick enough.

Food- we had tried,

VIRGIN MOJITO- Refreshing drink tastes as normal mojitos.

HONEY GLAZED CHICKEN WINGS- deep fried chicken wings tossed in sweet and tangy sauce and in honey with some small cubes of veggies. Chicken were tender and succulant. Tastes so heavenly. 5/5

VEG LEMON CORIENDER SOUP- Tastes so nice the flavour of lemon and coriender is too good. 4/5.

FRENCH FRIES- Tastes like normal french fries. Comes with a dip which tastes too good. GRILLED CHICKEN PITA POCKETS- I personally love this. This is perfect for a cheese and mayo lover. Soft pita pocket stuffed with genourous amount of boneless chicken veggies and a huge amount of cheese and mayo. tastes tooo good. 5/5. PRICE- Prices are affordable. Its a pocket friendly place and according to quality and quantity of foods the prices are perfect.

Today 31st Dec 2022 we visited the place and had mixed experience. First of all we asked for cheessy chicken meat ball as a starter but the waitress forced us to take chicken melany as it is their signature dish. Later on from a different conversations with another customer , we came to know that chicken meat ball is not in their stock. Anyway what they had suggested was good in taste and we dont have any regret for that. But when we placed the order for pork loaded pizza , it was told that both bacon and grilled pork will be in the toppings. Unfortunately when it was served we found only grilled pork meat was in the toppings but no bacon. We drew the attention of the waitress about this and she replied it may happen as there is a pressure in the kitchen. However the taste of the pizza was good. Finally when we asked for tiramishu as desert they again forced us to take a sundae special which is nothing but few scoops of ordinary icecream with some dry fruits and cookies. We don't have any complain about the taste of the food , nor about the ambience, but there is a lack of professionalism. Specially why don't they take enough care while preparing the food? In fact they were so casual about their mistakes that they don't even bother to say a 'sorry'. I'm really disappointed and will not recommend any one...
