Denzong kitchen — Restaurant in Kolkata

When I went there the first time, the manager sitting at the front-desk didn't even take his eyes off his mobile. I asked him a question, he answered me and again started scrolling through his mobile. I went there the 2nd day to order some momo-s and somehow, I forgot to count the 2 Sprite-s I had ordered. I thought the manager over-charged me because I was not counting the Sprite although I didn't tell him anything. The manager rolled his eyes in such a fashion I cannot tell you. Nobody has ever rolled their eyes at me like that. I felt really angry. The boys who work there are far, far better than him. All of them have a smiling face and they will greet you so nicely. I cannot say the same for the manager. All the time he is looking at his mobile. Yesterday also, when I went there, he was busy with his mobile. I have decided that I will not go inside the shop if I see him sitting there. The food is good so I order from there, Otherwise, there are 100s of other food joints...

We had been kept waiting for over 45 minutes for 2 items of food. The people who came after us got their ordered food first and even after telling the people politely to serve us our food since we have had been waiting for over 45 minutes. They completely ignored our requests and after waiting for another 15 or so minutes, we were forced to leave the restaurant. Completely disgraceful behavior by the people there. If that's how they treat customers, they're going to lose the business. Keeping waiters who don't know which table to serve first, lousy behavior. Never going back again. I wouldn't give any stars at all if given the choice but 1 star is the least...

My Usual Go-to Food Joint, Especially this branch. Really recommend any momos be it kothey or fried or even steam if you want sumn lowkey. The cheese chicken Fhaley is another banger from this joint with a crispy outer coating and cheesy and gooey chicken concoction (in a good way). Only cons would be wait times can sometimes be frustrating (if you are in a hurry), and the tap water is often boiling hot but you can always ask for a bottles cold water. Being a regular the service does not personally affect us. Definitely recommend to give this branch a try rather than the hazra one (That one...
