Wabi Sabi invites you in with a beautiful decor and when you sample the wonderful food at Wabi Sabi, you leave a part of you at the place. Seldom you get to see such an amazing combination of Taste, Ambiance and Service.

Me and my wife just happened to come across this beautiful joint and after checking out the reviews, thought of popping in to get a quick bite. Inside, we were amazed with the decor. Suffering from a sore throat, we decided to start with the the pumpkin and rosemary soup. It was absolutely lip-smacking.

I can never keep myself from checking out Nachos at any Cafe, hence we ordered one and found them to be one of the best I have ever had. Now my hunger was piqued and I wanted more of the awesome food. Next we ordered the Mochar Ghonto with Flaky Parantha (Absolutely must try!). I fell in love with the dish, the curry was spicy, tangy and wonderful. The parantha was flaky and crispy. I licked my fingers and didn't mind the people staring at me.

Next we tried the Cigar Rolls with Green Leaves, this was a miss for us, it did not have same great flavor as the other dishes, but was still quite good.

To bring this gastronomic delight to closure, we needed to order the perfect desert. Even with a sore throat, we went for the brownie with ice-cream. The ice-cream came on a bed of soft and slightly warm brownie. With a dig of the spoon and the first bite we knew, that this was the perfect desert to end the meal.

This place is a wonderful gem of...

I recently dined at Wabi Sabi, a vegetarian restaurant, as a hardcore non-veg lover suddenly fell in love with this restaurant.

The food was absolutely delicious. Each dish was well-prepared, flavorful, and showcased a variety of fresh and seasonal ingredients. I was impressed with the creativity and attention to detail in the menu. The restaurant offers a diverse range of vegetarian and vegan options that cater to different dietary preferences and restrictions.

We tried out 6 items from the menu- •Pumpkin & Rosemary Soup •Open Bao •Pita Pizza •Crispy Honey Chilli Lotus Stem •Kewa Datshi •Wabi Sabi Style Sizzling Brownie with Ice-cream.

Considering the quality of the food, the overall experience, and the prices on the menu, I believe offers great value for money. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable, considering the high-quality ingredients and the skillful preparation of the dishes. I left feeling satisfied both in terms of taste and value. My overall experience was excellent. The restaurant's commitment to vegetarian and vegan cuisine, along with its dedication to providing a pleasant dining experience, made it a standout choice. From the delightful food to the welcoming ambiance and attentive service, Wabi Sabi is a place I would highly recommend to both vegetarians and...

A Tranquil Oasis in the Heart of the City – Wabi Sabi is a Must-Visit!

Wabi Sabi is more than just a restaurant – it’s an experience for the senses. The moment you step in, you’re welcomed by a calming, minimalist aesthetic that beautifully blends earthy tones and serene décor, living up to its name inspired by the Japanese philosophy of finding beauty in simplicity.

The food is a delightful celebration of vegetarian and vegan cuisine – thoughtfully curated, visually stunning, and absolutely delicious. Each dish is crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and plated with artistic flair. Their Buddha Bowl, Zatar Naan with Hummus, and the innovative Jackfruit Tacos are standout favourites. The beverage menu is equally impressive – don’t miss their artisanal teas or refreshing fruit coolers.

What truly sets Wabi Sabi apart is the warmth of their service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to make your dining experience special. Whether you’re here for a peaceful solo meal, a casual catch-up with friends, or a wholesome family outing, Wabi Sabi delivers with grace.

Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates soulful food, mindful presentation, and an ambiance that soothes your soul. Can’t...

Fantastic place. It has a really interesting decor with some calming background music giving it a very relaxing vibe. The food we had was of diverse cuisines (Bengali, Bhutanese, Italian) yet each dish felt authentic and true to the region it represented. We started with a delicious Manchow soup and then for starters, we had: 1. Mochar Chop with Kasundi Honey Dip (bang on flavour wise and the kasundi dip is really finger looking good) 2. Steamed Momos (Thinly layered with a fabulous filling of veggies) 3. Garlic Bread (they make their own bread and it's melt in the mouth amazing) 4. Double Baked Potatoes (heavenly!) For main course we had: 1. Thin Crust Pizza- Al Fungi (the crust was thin crust and extremely crispy, with the mushrooms adding immense flavour) 2. Ema Datshi with Red Rice (really interesting dish which I had for the first time. Spicy and cheesy with the red rice being a perfect balance) We ended their brilliant Choco Lava Cake with Ice Cream and kept hydrated in the heat with a few Gandhoraj Masala Sodas. Each item was better than the other. Our per head was around 650 Rs which felt like a steal considering the amount we ate and the overall vibe of the place!

After dining out at Burma Burma Restuarant (Park Street), I was open to trying other veg restaurants in Kolkata. But this restaurant was highly unsatisfactory. 🫤 1. Service- Very poor. They were taking a long time to serve each item. We ordered an iced tea, a cappuccino and a milk shake. They took 10mins to serve each item. 30mins wasted serving 3 beverages 😕😕 2. Food: the beverages were not up to the mark. So we just ordered a wabi sabi platter. It consisted of 2 boiled potato kabab, 4 paneer, 2 banana seeds (mocha) kabab, 1 brocolli kabab. Took 15mins again to serve. The broccolli and potato was not cooked properly. The paneer not good. Only the banana seed kabab was good. 3. The price: The total bill was around 1200. Considering the service and taste, it's expensive. Only great thing is the decor. In short, I will never visit again. And I will not recommend this restaurant at all.
