On a journey to Kolkata and our stay at Hotel Omkar just by the side of Sealdah flyover, our craving for pizza wasn't fulfilled. This was an order for delivery at doorstep and the delivery person got himself lost in the hustle and bustle of Sealdah. He was on a mission to hand over two separate orders of parcels of pizza and one of those two was me. In the course of his action which was his only assigned job, to complete a delivery of the pizza under 30 minutes to a distance of 20 minutes on foot or in his case by riding a bike not more than 2 kilometres away from his outlet — he failed. By the time he managed to discover our hotel this was 50 minutes late, and the pizza lost its warmth, so nothing could have been done by then.
He had an altercation with me in this process. He said on the phone while asking for the precise location, “to give the pizza, shall I jump over the bridge?” Digesting his impertinence I kept my calm as then I was undivulged with the lateness of him and the coldness of pizza. So to proceed with the service he was providing me he called his manager for a final confirmation as I was about to reject the order. The manager from the outlet, instructed him to bestow the moribund pizza to me and in consolation she shall make an offer to recompense half of the billed price of that order as Domino's wallet money. This assurance of her went to vain when she reconstructed her own promise later that day.
She reformulated her own compensation terms and the condition now is that instead of adding the money in the wallet, she would now give an instant discount when I make a trip to her particular Domino's store. So nothing will be documented against her poor dispiriting services. She played it pretty safe, shielding herself from negative remarks. In other words she lied.
I went back to my hometown the very next day with the insipid memory of dull...

WORST EXPERIECE!
On Sunday eve had totally BAD impression in front my friend with whom I visited at entally location, oppoiste old gems cinema.
Domino’s staffs and managers are ruining the reputation due to NO proper training about how to answer customer’s questions.
Pathetic and unprofessional behaviour!
And when you ask to call the manager then they'll call any of their colleagues as the fake manager to face the situation and I think manager allowed them to do so.
The lady at the order counter need to learn some manners and customer service.
I asked about an offer which was to get Flat 50% off with NO limit from the date 20th to 22nd of January 2023. ( see the picture below)
I visited on Sunday the 22nd of 2023 and inquired about this offer than they said it starts from Rs 500 onwards and if you order then it will take 3-4 hours to serve.
Does it really makes sense to wait 3-4 hours to have a dinner in QSR?
Another LIE, They don't ever serve the order ever in 10 mins but more than 30 mins. ( though they have a offer to serve you in 10 mins or free Pepsi. ( Which is a LIE)
This is not a reliable...
Read moreWhen it comes to handy, pocket friendly, tasty pizza, Dominos is always the option! This Dominos outlet is located very close to my college. So, I keep going there often. I've always tried veg pizza there. Peri peri or famhouse are amazing ones in taste. If you take cheese burst, it will become more delicious. I tried chicken tikka pizza today and mongolian slice. Both seemed average. I donot know if it is due to post-covid effect or what. But veg pizza always seemed better to me, from this outlet. Though the sitting area is small, the sitting arrangement is nicely planned. They got a large table, for approx 10 persons. So, you can go with family. There are seats for 2 persons and 4 persons too. This branch got a clean washroom, and an area for drinking water. Staff service is okayish. Whenever I go, the staffs seem a bit less attentive. The welcome is not warm, that's it. Sometimes, they don't even...
