My father was regular at this place, as it was Ashtami we decided to have our breakfast after anjali at this place, we reached the place around 10:30, as usual there was crowd due to durga puja festivities at the place, but to my disappointment the crowd management and the service quality of the place was terrible. Firstly at the peak hours, there was only one cook present and 2 person were handling the service there were no person taking down names of the people who were waiting as a result a person who came after me was seated before me even though I was waiting for more than 30 mins, after pointing this out to the staff and arguing with them and waiting for 15 mins we were given a table but nobody took our order even though I was repeatedly calling the waiters finally after 30 mins they took our order, we ordered a Uttapam, Masala Dosa and 2 Filter coffee. They took 45 mins to serve the dosa and then another 30 mins to serve the Uttapam and after reminding the staff thrice a single cup of coffee was served and then after 20 mins another cup was served
As you can see the wait time was absolutely unacceptable moreover they were understaffed at that time and no manager was present at the restaurant to manage the staff as result the staff were clueless and didn't knew how to handle the situation. I was total chaos and they wasted...
Read moreMe and my friend visited the Santoshpur outlet of Dosa Coffee as we were craving some good dosa. Having ordered from this outlet several times before, I was quite confident about the quality they maintain — and once again, they didn’t disappoint.
We ordered: Plain Ghee Roast Dosa Dhaniya Ghee Roast Dosa Filter Coffee Srivalli Kheer
Ghee Roast happens to be both our favourite type of dosa. My friend went for the Plain Ghee Roast along with a separate portion of potato masala. The dosa was perfectly crisp and well-prepared, while the coconut chutney, sambar, and masala were all top-notch — simple yet delicious accompaniments.
I chose the Dhaniya Ghee Roast Dosa, which had a coriander paste filling. However, it didn’t feel all that special to me. I’ve loved their Garlic Ghee Roast Dosa on multiple occasions before, so I wanted to try something new this time — but the dhaniya version didn’t quite live up to expectations.
The Filter Coffee was outstanding — rich, aromatic, and just the way authentic South Indian filter coffee should be.
To wrap up the meal, we shared a serving of Srivalli Kheer. Its texture was somewhat similar to firni — cold, creamy, and indulgent. An absolute delight to end the meal on...
Read moreI had a chance to visit this place just a week ago. Everything was going well but a group of people seemed like friends with their family came at the same time to have food, they made the ambience very disturbing 🙉 for everyone as they were shouting laughing very loudly and did not even hesitate to scream. Every other chair was filled with really good people who knew how to behave and let others enjoy the time. The exception was that group, just ruined our time there. Lastly, a lady who was attending us from the side of the restaurant, I requested her to tell that group to keep in mind that every other person is there to enjoy their own time here and I requested her to tell them to talk a little slowly but unfortunately she told me that was not possible to do by herself. But I think this should be managed by the restaurant authority. Every other food stall on the road provides good south Indian foods at a much cheaper price but if someone chooses you over the others with a bit higher cost for the same food then the restaurant authority must take care of every customer. Although the...
