Fiesta — Restaurant in Kolkata

Amidst the myriad options available for food.. Seldom does some make a considerable mark... However Fiesta was one such experience which definitely etched its place in the list of places to eat... Coming to what we tried :

Well, first up

The starter :

Nam Prik Praw Pla

Now this was available in basa and bhetki options among fish and we tried the recommended bhetki... Essentially it was fish tossed in roasted chilli paste.. Delectable it was for sure

Next up..

The tried and tested fried rice... Mixed fried rice with the right amount of chicken egg and prawn.. No qualms here.. Made just right

Also accompanying the main course we tried...

Khai phad King

Which was chicken with ginger and yellow bean paste.. This had a particular taste which might be difficult for some... However the dish had its own identity

Also special mention goes to the Management, specially Mr Subhanjan for ensuring that the experience is truly memorable

Awesome food joint in Santoshpur. Their hospitality is simply awesome and staffs are very humble. Food quality is good too. You should definitely try it if you stay near by. I had a chicken starter named Diced Chicken with Assorted Pepper N Chilly Garlic which tasted good along with mixed hakka noodles and a fish dish named Pla Gra Tiem which is basically bhetki slices cooked in Garlic n Black Pepper. I would give a 5star for the starter and noodles but the fish item I didn't like much would like to give 3 out of 5. Since this restaurant is very close to our place, we visit here occasionally for dining. This is primarily an oriental restaurant, with some limited choice of tandoori and mughlai delicacies. Not that we complain. The food has always been good, and we particularly love its mocktails, rice items and starters. It was the only place where I could dine during my pregnancy. Now my baby loves going there :) The team is very well behaved and accommodating to our needs. Another thing is that it gives a happy view, thanks to its large glass windows.
