Utter pathetic business ethics. Today I went to buy sweets worth INR.600 and while they were packing, me and my wife felt like having two Radhaballavis each. They gave me two quarters of potato by the side, one of which is the size of a 2 rupees coin. I felt I should request one more piece of potato since I could not finish my staple with the little spoon of curry they gave. To my surprise they told bluntly that every piece of potatoes are counted" and they can maximum help me with a spoon of gravy. Thanks to their business ethics that a person who is buying stuffs worth INR. 600, gets refused for a quarter piece of ALU which is 16rupees/ kilo in the market. That too such disgracefully refused. I felt terribly humiliated since I have never come across such an episode anywhere else in any sweet shop. I felt that I was a beggar.
The quarter piece of alu would not have costed them more than 50paisa, which is less than 0.08% of my total bill. FYI: the price for a piece of Radhaballavi is Rs 7 here. I had to throw away the remaining piece of Radhaballavi since I had nothing to bite with it. I shall never go...
