Fantusia - Gluten Free Bakery — Restaurant in Kolkata

We were looking for gluten free bakeries for cookies and cakes. Our 3 year old is a picky eater and is allergic to gluten and loves cakes. We looked across Kolkata but didn’t find a single bakery that understood us and our needs. Sure there are some bakeries that serve gluten free stuff but those have additives which we like to avoid. We came across Gargi’s bakery (Fantusia), requested some cup cakes - which were delicious. When we saw it was coming from a mother’s kitchen, we were hooked. Our child loves the gastronomical wonders and we do too. We got a few birthday cakes from Gargi which were beautiful and were gobbled up in no time - no leftovers. It has become a ritual now to get something from Fantusia every few weeks; keeps all of our sweet teeth satiated. It’s really tough to make gluten free cakes and cookies for children. Fantusia...

I requested Gargi for a blueberry, dark chocolate cake on my daughter's birthday as my niece is celiac and I am allergic to gluten. In kolkata it's very difficult to get a proper gluten free cake . The cake was extremely delicious...we 11 people just instantly finished 3lb cake...blueberries added its delicacy quotient more. The cake was nicely packed and price is very reasonable....it was much more delicious than normal good cakes. I requested for gluten free vanilla flavored butter cookies also....they were just melted inside mouth. I am looking forward to order more breads, cookies and cakes on regular basis.
