I had gone to buy a Chinese samosa and vada pav. When I asked for chutney, the staff made a face. They did give the chutney, but only the sweet (tamarind) chutney that is usually served with samosas.

So I politely asked for green chutney as well, since that’s what is typically given with vada pav. The staff told me they can’t give two types of chutney, which honestly didn’t make sense.

Then the owner stepped in and told them to give it. The staff, still annoyed, unwillingly added both chutneys inside the items with a visible attitude.

This wasn’t the first time. The last time I visited, they didn’t give any chutney at all.

While I was there this time, another girl came and complained that the peda (sweet offered to God) was completely spoiled. The staff denied it in front of her, but once she left, I heard them say “Yes, it’s totally spoiled now.”

The service used to be good, but it has now become poor and disappointing. Staff visibly get irritated even when you politely ask for chutney.

Makes me wonder — if I had bought the samosa and vada pav on different days, would they still say “only one...
