Rang De Basanti Dhaba is a really good and busy restaurant specializing in North Indian dhaba and fusion cuisine. I went with my family and the ambience is very dhaba style vibrant and energetic. We had their speciality starter " Utterly Utterly Chicken" which is inspired from Delhi's Jama Masjid style butter chicken. We also took Kasundu Fish Tikka which was very earthy and zingy in flavour. The chicken was succulent and well doused in butter. For the mains we got plain and butter nun on the crispy flaky side along with Kolkata Chicken Bharta which was perfectly complimenting each other. The level of spice was perfect for us, but one can ask the staff for adjusting to their spice tolerance. We took their special Goli Soda as our beverage which balanced the heavy meal wonderfully. The staff is helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a lot and would love to visit again. However this restaurant is a very popular and busy one so you should take some time in hand to get a table there. ❤️💚💛💜💙 © Nandini RC

I recently dined at this fantastic restaurant and was delighted by the exquisite flavors of their Mutton Dum Biryani and Special Chicken Handi. The aromatic blend of spices in the biryani made each bite a delightful experience, and the chicken handi was tender, rich, and perfectly seasoned. The staff provided excellent service, making it a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend trying these dishes for a true culinary treat! Beyond the delicious cuisine, the restaurant's interior is a feast for the eyes. The ambiance is tastefully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in the decor enhances the overall dining experience, making it a visually appealing space to enjoy a meal. The combination of great food and a beautiful interior truly sets this restaurant apart. One of the best food experiences I've had in recent times in Kolkata.

Big no for pure vegetarians. Health inspector should check their standards , onions and paneer both had foul smell as if it were kept in refrigerator alongside meat. The naan are not chewable, imagine how long will it rot in one’s intestine before it gets digested in 4-5 days. I would have asked the manager to eat it himself had this been a dine in order and not through Swiggy. Why do they even serve dal makhni , just look at the small portion size.How do you expect your customers to finish off chewing gum like naan without dal . In short this order is going in dustbin because I can’t risk my health because of these money mongers zero safety standard people. Would have puked if I eat this. First and last order.

Today I had ordered the dish churchur naan from their outlet and to my astonishment after consuming a few bites i but on this metal piece which appeared to be a screw or a part of the utensil which eventually broke of and was mixed with the food. I had ordered a few times before but never thought a brand like this would conduct such a casual approach in preparation of the food which is consumed by a human. Cannot even think about the condition it was cooked under. Definately never going to order or even visit their restaurant in my entire life and will make sure none of my close people or person or the ones I know eats from them.
