Yesterday(10th July) was my 50th birthday. To have dinner with my friends we decided to go to this place as each of us stay nearby. My 3 friends are all senior citizens, one being 75 yrs old. I got 4 sweets just to start the birthday with sweet. Just one small size (dry)sweet, for each of us, bought from a small footpath stall near this restaurant only(wrapped in news paper). We just bit it holding in our hand and started ordering the food from the menu. Then one waiter came and told us that outside foods are not allowed. Only cakes are allowed(one party was having a cake cutting ceremony, the cake bought from the near by bakery Dough as you like). I politely told him that it's my birthday so thought of treating them with a small piece of sweet. But the waiter was adamant. And then his supervisor came to our table (by that time one of us has finished off his piece already) and kept on repeating the same words. Again I told him that why are you making fuss out of this small thing as we are here to have a proper dinner for my birthday. Then he replied " You have to stop eating. We allow only cakes from outside." Then we left the place utterly disgusted and promised to ourself that we would never come back here. Though it was one of our favorite places. In my opinion this small adjustment could be done s a good gesture by the restaurant staff, because 1. we were neither using nor spoiling any restaurant belongings and 2. not to spoil our birthday celebration mood. Anyways if the business thinks that a customer does not matter for them a lot as they are doing good business and does not have to worry about their goodwill then just remember for the customers also there is no...

FOOD
※Fish Tikka Kebab was served in a well decprated plate with 4 bhetki pieces nicely prepared in charcoal tawa with tandoori masala and was served with laccha onions and pudina chutney.
※Bharwan Tangree had four chicken leg pieces with were filked with mutton kheema and nicely marinated and cooked with indian spices and prepared in the charcoal tawa.
※Shahi pulav was served in a big bowl that is enough for 2 people and was made of basmati rice with stir fried onions, cashew and raisins. The taste was sweet and not salty.
※Mutton Peshawari was the side dish that consisted of 4 pieces of boneless mutton dipped in heavy gravy filled with indian spices and amazing in taste.
※Special Chicken Biriyani was another dish AND THIS WAS THE REASON I GAVE THEM 2 STARS...THE BIRIYANI WAS GOOD IN TASTE IT HAD TWO HUGE PIECES OF CHICKEN BUT ONE OF THEM WAS NOT GOOD IT HAD A VERY FOWL SMELL AND YES THAT MADE MY FRIEND FALL SICK THE NEXT MORNING...
ONE SUGGESTION TO TANDOOR PARK IS THAT PLEASE DO CHECK THE FOOD BEFORE COOKING AND SERVING...AFTER ALL WE ARE PAYING A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY TO SPEND AN EVENING THERE TO ENJOY AND NOT TO FALL SICK.
THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT...
Read moreDhakuria branch - Food is great as usual but they need to work on their service. The manager especially. I’ve been coming here for ages especially for the food and not the service. Yesterday I visited with 2 of my friends and was given a dimly lit corner table I was not particularly happy with. So I agreed to wait until a better table was available and then we were asked to take one by the window and I was happy. After moving there, we found the place especially cold (and it was a relatively colder February night yesterday) and asked if the aircon temperature could be adjusted. We were told a hard no, as others might prefer a colder temperature. We said it’s fine then and kept feeling the shivers. I went back and checked if our earlier table was still empty and it was. So I asked if we can move back to our old table then. The manager was utterly disappointed at that and made sure that I understood his annoyance with his facial expression. I asked what’s the problem - we just want to be comfortable while we eat. Had we known about the cold, we wouldn’t have made the request to change our tables. He still expressed how problematic it is to keep changing tables and order numbers but eventually “allowed” us to move back to the original place. This is not what I call service! And then moments later he got into a huge fight with a person on another table (both shouting at the top of their voices) which ruined the rest of...
