Dhakuria Lake, popularly known as the Rabindra Sarobar, is a man-made lake and the second largest water body of Kolkata. It is considered a major ecological reserve of the city. The land is covered by the lake and comprises of gardens, parks, trees, shrubs, auditoria, and jogger’s strip. There is a significant population of various varieties of fish on the lake however, fishing is prohibited. From there, if you walk in the rightside, you will get the Gate. *****Plastic bottles are not allowed here***** There is security at the gate, they check bags and if there are bottles, they take them.
