The Brass Room — Restaurant in Kolkata

Well the ambience and the atmosphere was pretty nice with the jazz music (band performance)at the background but as soon as they took a break, then halls music was changed to pop one, which was clearly breaking the environment we came for no. 1 No.2 the staff are pretty reluctant and services not upto the mark, the taste was nothing special was like any ordinary place would serve, also to continue as we when to smoking room, where my purse nd food was kept, in returning thy had already cleaned it up! WE PAID FULL but the food consumed due to their ignorance was just less a quarter rather, ON EXPLAINING THAT IT MIGHT BE A MISTAKE , WE don't mind thy offered for a replacement or alternative we waited for 40damn mins, only to know that they never had the intention of serving and made us wait so tht we could just leave....

Quite simply, one of the worst mid-priced restaurants I have been to, ever. I cannot say much about the music in general, but the day we were there, it was less than mediocre, dressing up top-40 fare with unimpressive vocal acrobatics and calling it jazz. It touts itself as a tapas bar, but serves faltu finger food-- not the kind of Spanish stuff that the description makes you expect. I did not like any of the 6 or 7 dishes we ordered-- heck, I hated them all. The mojito I had was passable, but just that. In the future, I may go the ITC Sonar restaurants, unless someone warns me that those too have gone the way of...
