This is essentially a food truck laden with all the kebabs and tandooris you want to have. The reshmi kebab is delicious. Also you can try the hariyali kebab, pineapple kebab and of course the chicken tandoori. They grill using charcoal and the smokey flavour is evident in all the dishes. If undecided, go for the mixed platter, basically a stick with a mix of all the different kebabs on offer. Price is reasonable, ranging from ₹80/- to ₹120/- per stick. They open shop in the afternoon and the location is next to the Dumdum Seven Tanks rickshaw stand. I have been noticing this portable maruti van selling barbecue chicken for the last few years but never had the opportunity to check it out. This time I stopped by and bought one full leg (leg and thigh) chicken tandoori. I was surprised to notice the excellent taste. It can compete with many big and famous restaurants and beat them hands down. Authentic barbecue on charcoal. The outlet was opened by Shantanu Das in 2009. I was surprised that despite creating a good reputation (it's always crowded) his charges are very reasonable.
