🌟 A Wonderful Evening at The Coffee Carousel – Patuli’s Hidden Gem! 🌟

Visited The Coffee Carousel (TCC) yesterday evening with my wife and daughter, and it turned out to be one of the most heartwarming dining experiences we have had in a long time.

My daughter, who has a refined taste and always looks for something different and innovative on the plate, absolutely loved the food here. That itself says a lot !!! Usually, she does not praise food unless it is truly exceptional — but this time, without me even asking, she said, “This is beautiful & testy.” That one sentence told me everything..... TCC is doing something incredibly right.

We tried a wide variety of items, and each one stood out with its own character and flavor: • Hot Chocolate – rich, velvety and comforting • Blue Lagoon – refreshing and vibrant • Peach Iced Tea – perfectly brewed and fruity • Smokey Cheesy Chicken Wings – a burst of flavor with the perfect balance of smokiness and melt-in-mouth cheese. • Crispy Chilli American Corn – crunchy, less spicy and addictive • Drums of Heaven – just divine, living up to its name • Fish Finger – crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful inside • Mango Shake – smooth and nostalgic • Watermelon Agua Fresca – a cool breeze in a glass

Every dish had a beautiful twist — a touch of fusion that made the familiar feel fresh and exciting.

A special mention to the owner, whose graciousness and hands-on approach truly impressed me. He interacted personally with guests, ensuring everyone was comfortable and happy — something you rarely witness in today’s fast-paced dining scene. That personal care makes all the difference.

If you are in or around Patuli or even in South Kolkata and want a place where great food meets great hospitality, I wholeheartedly recommend The Coffee Carousel.

Location- The cafe is in a peaceful place, plenty of parking area, however, Google Location is showing the cafe in completely wrong direction....the owner must rectify asap.

Food - Food presentations were average. Starters we ordered was ok types, nothing out of the box, the chef tried hard, but, found something was Missing in the dishes we had. Main course needs some serious attention by the chef....it was way below expectations....the taste of fish in rosemary was completely out of balance. Ordered for 1st Flush tea, but it was no where near to 1st Flush category (please improve tea quality)

Interiors - Small cafe, neat n clean, small sitting arrangements, nothing much happening like sofas or other interesting hangout arrangements.

Service - Courteous staff, owner greeted with smile and asked for feedback (though am not a review person, but felt I should give an honest feedback). Pizza was unavailable, Fried Chicken wings ordered for my child took almost an hour to serve rest orders were served in time.

Atmosphere- Simple, but would suggest to install 1 more AC or the existing 2 ACs need servicing, the temp should be 3 point down on the mercury.

All in all, needs improvement on food taste, tea quality, child friendliness and air...

Starting with the atmosphere. A nice beautiful cafe at a peaceful location. Once you enter the cafe, you will understand how calm it is. Not far from the main road, but still far from the noise and rush. Beautiful cafe with all the aesthetic vibe. Now the food. The food here is good. You will find plenty of options. Be it starter, drinks, main course, there are huge variety of items in the menu. Like a cafe, you will find pizza pasta for sure. And like a restaurant, you will find fried rice and noodles too. And the quantity of rice and noodles, is good for two people. Food won't disappoint you. And now the service. The best part. The people working here are too friendly. They will give you space and won't be disturbing you to place an order. Take your time. And just when you ring the bell, they are in front of you to take the order. Their recommendations are pretty good too. You will find everything simple yet perfect here.

I just want them to add desserts too, which I think they're...
