Cafechino — Restaurant in Madhya Pradesh

I visited Jehanuma's Cafechino recently with my husband and infant. However, this much touted place to hang out in Bhopal left my family utterly disappointed. I cannot fathom why this property boasts of food, which is average and hospitality which is below ground zero. While ordering food, we were educated about how an espresso is bitter in taste and it did not end there. The serving staff took no shame in explaining to us, what a wood fired pizza is. We were so relieved he didn't demonstrate to us, how to eat one. Serving to the table was miscalculated as wrong order was being served. I wish they could train their staff on sequencing of serving food, basics like getting all beverages together. Our pan cake was lost in the abyss until we decided to literally bother every staff to get it after waiting for a good half n hour. Property owners must make a note of the kind of horrendous hospitality being put on plate here, as having some heritage-esque advantage to the place is not sufficient and their staff has probably inherited a lackadaisical mindset where they think that people would still continue to visit this place despite the poor show. Overall, this place lacks 'substance' (if I were to borrow from Jane Austen), and is certainly not ready to cater to the audience...

Happy times at Cafechino Jehnuma

In my last few visits the cafe was disappointing but the visit this week and then the cake yesterday has bought so much happiness to me .. We had

Fresh gelatos of chocolate and orange and chocolate fudge .. it was refreshing and perfectly balanced. Dahi puri was yumm and so fresh with perfect balance of spices … crunch papdi , eight amount of curd and chutney and masala. And enough quantity to satiate three people comfortably. Next was the four vegetable pizza customised to my taste with lots of corn. The fresh thin base was a delight to eat. The last but not the least were the much awaited desserts … raspberry sorbet chocolate mousse Banoffee cheesecake Mango eclair

The raspberry was a thin and slightly crunchy coating on a perfect chocolate mousse . The mango eclairs was crisp with fresh mangos and mango cream The banoffee dessert was great too

Then it was the cake that my friend got for me yesterday as a belated birthday thing .. the chocolate overload cake which was super moist and the ganache on top was simply heaven .. fresh and perfect ..

Get away from the hustle and bustle of Bhopal Lane. Situated in the undying elegance of Jehan Numa Palace. For people who want to experience luxury with some form of a heritage property, Café chino is the best location. Not that great as the case with the burger, pizza's are fine. About the Hot chocolate I felt like drinking hot bournvita and not at all appealing. It's a nice large seating area with respect to the ambience. To make things feel more awesome, I would like to go to dinner at night. At night, you'll feel the cherry...
