Chai Kaapi Arera Colony — Restaurant in Madhya Pradesh

The place offers good environment to work, have quick catchup/meetings etc. I have had great tea, bun maska & sandwiches here before. I recently visited after a long time again and my experience was very disappointing. We had ordered tandoori maggi, pasta, very berry iced tea, cold coffee, honey chilli potato, cheese burst fries & pizza. The cold coffee and pasta were good but we had to literally leave everything else. Cheese burst fries had left so much oil in the plate and they looked nothing like “cheese burst”. Tandoori maggi was another bummer and tasted sweet. Pizza! We ate with a poker face. It’s base was extremely dry. Berry Iced tea - found it regular and not flavoured which I expected from its name

My experience at Chai Kaapi has been quite pleasant. We had our seat inside the cafe. The order came a little bit late than usual, since there was rush, which is considerable since it was a weekend evening. The place is spacious with sitting space both outside and inside, outside is not lit well though but inside is illuminated well. Nit so striking ambiance though, the Indore Chai Kaapi has a better ambiance. The staff is cool and well behaved. The menu is a bit different, it will definitely surprise you. The taste is not bad and their filter kaapi is quite close to the authentic one however having a cafe and not offering drinking water is not acceptable. They offer only packaged drinking water that too small bottles increasing plastic waste. Having filtered drinking water is a basic necessity not an extraordinary demand. Loud banging sounds will accompany your coffee/ tea time while you are in the cafe. The ambience and service needs major improvement.
