Edit: The owner seems to have taken offence, indulged is sarcasm and personal attacks to hide it's whataboutery so I am editing my review to focus on important points. This outlet encourages and provides an avenue to underage kids including teenage girls to smoke. No self respecting parent, elder or guardian would want to walk into a cafe to find their 15-16 year old kids smoking, burning their lungs and spoiling their future. They used to serve a really good, authentic pizza I’ve had it a few times and genuinely enjoyed it. However, about two weeks ago, I was served a pizza that was subpar. It didn’t come with any oregano or chilli flakes, and the quality just wasn’t up to the mark. After a long day, it completely spoiled my mood. I know that they usually accept orders inside the outlet and communicate them to the kitchen located behind the counter. But this time, the parcel was brought to me from outside the shop. While it might not have been a scam, it caught my attention especially after a tiring night and added to my disappointment when the pizza itself wasn’t worth eating. In hindsight, suggesting that it was procured from elsewhere may have been unnecessary, and I’ll own up to that. But it doesn’t change the core issue: the quality of the pizza has clearly gone down. Their beverages are undeniably expensive no hot beverage on their menu is priced below ₹350–400. I’ve actually thought about this quite a few times but still continued to order their drinks during casual meetups and get-togethers. That day, however, I had a bad experience. I was alone, had ordered a pizza, and while waiting, I happened to glance through the menu again while sipping their hot chocolate which, I noticed, was ₹395. It struck me as steep, especially given the quality that day, so I mentioned it in my review. But instead of taking the feedback in stride, they responded with unnecessary whataboutery and sarcasm. So let me bring the focus back to the actual issue: the pizza served to me was substandard, and the pricing of their beverages which I’ve tolerated for long only stood out more in that moment of disappointment. There is undeniably a parking issue in the area. To be fair, it's not entirely the fault of this particular outlet the problem lies in the broader urban planning failure. All the outlets along that stretch face the same challenge, as it’s essentially a residential area that’s been haphazardly converted into a commercial zone without any proper provision for parking. Commercial permissions in such locations should never have been granted in the first place Conclusion: The outlet is undeniably overpriced, and the quality has clearly declined. But what truly exposed the place was the owner's response to a genuine Google review — a bitter, arrogant rant that reeked of insecurity and a bruised ego, far more than any concern for...
Read moreIt was an issue before when they didn't have much space to accommodate people in their small café. It's great that they've newly opened a space upstairs which is quite big. I was slightly disappointed when I was asked to move because the owner spontaneously decided to take a birthday booking while there were guests in the area. I was very comfortable working in that space but had to rather leave because it was raining outside and I didn't want to sit further inside.
It's alright if they want to go commercial and all business. But let's admit, sometimes there should be some courteousness towards the customers. Because one "party" for someone can ruin the entire concept of what this café is about for many, many of its loyal customers. A calm, open and chill space to work, read, play games and of course even party. But the bookings can be done in advance and it shouldn't randomly force already sitting customers to move around to accommodate a bunch of people who decided to party in the café at a random hour and show up out of nowhere :).
I don't hate anyone here, they're all lovely people. Just that they should try and be more considerate in such situations, about their great space and it's alright to say no sometimes when the situation's not perfect. Because a café like this should boast more legacy than...
