Sagar Gaire Kolar — Restaurant in Madhya Pradesh

My wife had ordered food from this restaurant tonight for my mother in law's birthday through Swiggy. We ordered 3 veg biryanis, 3 daal makhanis, 2 paneer butter masalas. Despite ordering such large quantity after having paid in full, we never received the delivery. When called the restaurant, the reply was that the order has been cancelled by Swiggy after 40 mins from the time of order placed. The swiggy driver never called us and cancelled the order all by himself. Upon repeatedly asking the restaurant if the food ever left with the driver, the restaurant finally confirmed that yes the food was dispatched. The swiggy driver's number kept ringing but he never answered. Although we received refund from swiggy, but this experience left a very sour image. I wonder what Swiggy does with all the disappeared food? Seems like foul play, don't know from who's end. I think it's high time the swiggy driver should click a picture of the delivery upon collection.

Can't give rating to the food as never got the chance to eat it. The owner of the restaurant was quite helpful though and confirmed that he would take this up with Swiggy. Has anyone else ever been in the same situation?...

I ordered food today and the taste of my go to food which is veg noodles and tomato cheese pasta was pathetic for pasta there was cheese which tasted cheap and was tasting genuinely like the mix of tomato soup+ketchup. For noodles they were explaining the taste to me both the manager and staff that how veg noodles taste . Lol as if this was my first time of eating veg noodles ever and the explanation was that "Veg noodles medium spicy hota h that I also know " but after giving spicy as Schezwan noodle they were expecting the same . The franchise owner has changed here I feel. And also They are ruining the name of the OG Sagar Gaire Chain . Please try to avoid them if you don't want to spoil your mood . I...

Never expected such bad tasting food from Sagar gaire. I ordered panner kulcha and cold coffee with ice cream and my god it was horrible. It was served cold cuz ig the food was prepared much earlier and literally panner gravy had only 4 panner pieces , also the kulcha didn't have a panner filling like the other Sagar gaire outlets give. Couldn't even find ice cream in the "yuk" cold coffee. The food Didn't taste good and wasn't of the quality we expect from Sagar gaire. This Kolar branch no wonder didn't have much crowd also.
