Looking for Chicken, Ended Up with Paneer — No Regrets 🍗❌🧡

I was on a mission to satisfy my non-veg cravings, so I asked my auto driver to drop me at a “nice hotel.” He nodded like he knew a secret spot and bam! I landed at Hotel Temple City, only to find out it’s pure veg. Heart = broken. Appetite = confused.

They didn’t even have a menu card, so I went with instinct (and pain): ordered mushroom biryani and paneer butter masala.

And you know what? Shockingly GOOD. The flavor, the richness, it almost made me forget I ever wanted chicken in the first place. 😅👏

Now, the food came out in what felt like hyper speed, huge applause for that! But the staff? Let’s just say they could use a bit more caffeine. Service was a little slow on the response side, but once the order went through, it was like a kitchen rocket launch.

Final verdict: Didn’t get non-veg, but got a full-blown flavor surprise. Worth it if you’re open to being pleasantly betrayed by...

I recently had breakfast at Temple City and, unfortunately, it turned out to be quite a disappointing experience. I ordered pongal, masala dosa, and sambar vada, but none of them lived up to expectations:

The sambar vada was extremely small in size and tasted very average, yet I was charged ₹43, which felt overpriced given the quality.

The pongal was the most disappointing—bland and poorly prepared.

The masala dosa was charged at ₹115, which is quite expensive, and again, the taste did not justify the price.

To make matters worse, the service was poor and unwelcoming. Overall, I would not recommend...

The worst ever experience I ever had in an restaurant, we entered in with so much hunger, there is no responsibility in any of the staff over there, when we asked for meals they said it is no there but they served to other persons who came after us also fried rice had turmeric powder flavour in it, Biryani was not served with raitha, instead of kurma some kulambu was served for Chapathi bu ended up paying 1000 Rs bill..I will not recommend anyone coming to Madurai for this restaurant nor any of its brances seeing hospitality and care they give...the whole para was typed with anger...
