I recently visited shanmuga multi cuisine restaurant with my sister after seeing Insta food blogger reviews but it was totally disappointed for us. Ambiance was pleasant upon entry, the washroom was a lettable down with its unpleasant odor and we got mosquito bites under the table...and the table was not cleaned properly bcz who serve food he is same person cleaning the table with his hand without any gloves or proper cleaning kit it shows their hygenic standard.
Our food experience was disappointing. We ordered two portions of butter roti, but it was hard, cold, and overcooked. The Chicken Chettinaad gravy was overpriced and undersized, with an excessive amount of salt. The Chicken Schezwan noodles were cold, bland, and served in extremely small portions – only about five spoonfuls.
Overall, our dining experience was subpar, and the value for money was poor. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Same review has been informed to the manager who atteded while...
Read moreWe were a group of 4. Ee have ordered Japan chicken and prawn dynamite as starters. Both tasted very good especially the Japan chicken was just like what we get in erode dhabas. Finger licking!!! Then we had a nool parotta set which was flaky and Crispy outside and soft inside. Went well with the mutton pepper gravy. We had 2 more plain dosas. The sambar and the two chutneys provided were good. Washed these down with a watermelon juice and mint lemon juice. No complaints on the food front. The service was also good. Our bill was Rs.1657/-. I consider this ok overall. But my main issue was one plain dosa was charged Rs.130/- which I think is on the higher side. And the watermelon juice was Rs.143/-. My kind suggestion to the management is to bring down both the dosa and watermelon juice prices to 80-90/- which would be acceptable considering the ambiance. Was a good experience overall and would...
Read moreVery poor food quality & high prices . We ordered mixed veg.fried rice , dynamite paneer , chapathi , parotta and paneer butter masala, naatukozhi mundiri roast.Kids fell sick with vomitting and stomach trouble after eating here. All the dishes costed above 200 RS but hardly worth the money . Just because the kids were hungry and cranky we ate whatever we could and ran off as early as possible. As much as they have spent money for ambience , interiors , it would help if they could hire decent chefs and service persons . Totally off- putting experience. Madurai has other good restaurants which offer better food for this money .
DONT ORDER VEG. & CHINESE OPTIONS .STICK TO THEIR USUAL CHETTINAD TYPE NON-VEG DISHES .
Fried rice was too oily . Dynamite paneer was too rubbery with thick coating and tossed in a random sauce . Chapathi was raw, undercooked . Paneer butter masala , chicken dish...
