Visited Nalan Restaurant with my wife recently, and I must say, it was a delightful experience!
We tried a variety of dishes — the Chicken Thokku Biryani was flavorful (a bit spicy, but enjoyable), the Kulcha and Butter Naan were soft and well-made, and the Chicken Butter Masala hit all the right notes. The star of the show was definitely the Prawn Tikka (perfectly grilled and spiced), and the Chicken Special Tikka Shawarma was just excellent.
But the true highlight? The Brownie with Ice Cream — hands down the best I’ve ever had. It’s an absolute must-try! We also enjoyed their refreshing Sunset Mocktail and Lime & Mint Mojito — both were very refreshing.
The ambience was simple yet clean and neat, and the service was top-notch. The only minor challenge was finding the location — it’s a bit tricky to spot initially. But once you get there, it’s totally worth it.

Read moreI made a last minute plan to have a family dinner in a rooftop, I have called them to confirm if they are serving at the roof top and paid the visit. The dining area was well-organized and the atmosphere was too good. We have just ordered the food and it started raining suddenly before it arrived. Fortunately, there is a cabin with enclosed roofs located above the usual open-top dining area. I must appreciate the staffs for their service as they have quickly helped the other customers who were having their food by that time to shift to those cabins without any hassles. Mr. Vignesh's assistance in finding a place and later serving us is greatly appreciated. There is room for improvement in food. Read moreWorst experience 1.prawn thokku briyani was ordered, old prawn crispy fried ( precooked) 4 pieces were mixed in semi gravy and which was given with semi solid Biriyani.. being in Madurai they don’t know what is prawn thokku… 2.water is chargeable and is given after reminding them of water at half of the meals. ( unprofessional) 3.only one server is available who is a part time staff in ground floor who forgets things due to young age ( part time worker)and workload… Food came after half an hour… 5.Feedback for food is asked from couples by cashier Vignesh /vicky neglecting the surrounding males.. , which is not a good Attitude… 6.ambience- good
