Wanted to visit them from their first Takeaway outlet didn't got the opportunity to do so. Finally visited their new cafe with lots of expectations and much did they satisfy our expectations. I think the owner of the cafe should try controlling his friends and their visit first as they come more than customers in crowd and create atmosphere not so cool for outsiders as they are loud at times and also makes the owner who takes orders a little lethargic, secondly coming to atmosphere its simple and good, coming to food expectations was high we tried butter garlic rice with chettinad mushroom gravy it was really good, then pizza number 7 we tried it didn't satisfy us it was mentioned as spicy marinara but it was tangy only and didn't like it much, then we ordered nachos the cream sauce poured is not so good it doesn't taste like mayo or tandoori mayo so they should have a look into it then tried malai kaththi roll with Paneer it was also ok. Actually we tried tastes that was similar which might be a overshadowing thing but since the person was occupied we weren't able to call him up and ask for explanations. So might visit them again and try few other items. Also parking of 2 Wheelers is not a problem here 4 Wheelers max to max it can accommodate 2 to 3 near restaurant and maybe away from restaurant car...
Read moreI've had the pleasure of visiting Noshta a couple of times since their recent opening, and I must say, their commitment to freshness sets them apart. Unlike many places that opt for convenience, Noshta takes the extra effort to prepare everything from scratch, ensuring a delightful dining experience.
The standout item for me has to be their chimney cones – a unique and delicious treat that you won't find elsewhere in Madurai. The sweet chili chicken wings does deserve a special mention, as they were a flavor-packed delight.
The cozy and vibrant atmosphere adds to the overall charm, offering a welcome escape from the mainstream traffic noise. Vetri, the owner, personally takes orders and manages the front of the house, creating a welcoming environment. While, the other owner Rasheen manages the kitchen, ensuring that every dish is prepared with care and precision.
While the cafe's size and limited seating might lead to it filling up quickly, a simple call ahead can help avoid any waiting time. It's worth noting that the preparation time might be a bit longer compared to some places, but that's because they take the time to craft each dish from scratch. Patience pays off when you're treated to fresh and carefully made food. Noshta is truly a pocket friendly cute little cafe that's...
Read moreAn amazing cafe find in Madurai which gives equal importance to vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options. The major issue with most of the cafes in Madurai is that they have more chicken (or even mutton) recipes and vegetarians feel abandoned. But this cafe has carefully curated their menu including corn, spinach, paneer, mushroom recipes in all their dishes.
We tried their mushroom chettinad fry as a starter, and the main course - we had spinach & corn kathi rolls, all in one pizza, mixed herb rice with paneer butter gravy.
Among the dishes we tried, the kathi rolls proved to be the best and you can even consider it as the best kathi roll in madurai. Simply unbeatable! The thin crust pizza was filling and will definitely be enough for two people. Even the rice was worth the price. Another best thing in this cafe is that all dishes are nominally priced and every penny spent here is worth it.
One thing the cafe can improve is they can have better dessert options if possible to make a completely satisfying experience.
Overall, a good and must-try cafe for...
