Sharing my experience of recent visit to Hyderabad house, Hinjewadi Phase 3, Pune, on 27th December, 2018.
Two major factors are important to consider whenever we decide to go out for food with our relatives/ colleagues/ friends:
Quality of food- Taste has to be good for sure, but this cannot be the sole factor to make your experience memorable.
Good and fresh quality ingredients has to be there in your food. We were all colleagues and went there to celebrate an special occasion.
In our case, Starter and Biryani was good. We also had soup and fresh lime soda. Lime soda was not that good (extremely sweet).
So what if one thing is not as per your taste/ liking/ good quality???- Service becomes more important then.
Service quality- Most important, as per me. From preparation time to serving on table, waiter’s response to your doubts, flexibility if you want a little customization- all these are part of service, which is hardly taken care in Hyderabad House.
They are arrogant, they ignore your requests, their response is something you will not expect anywhere in today’s era. What happened to my extremely sweet lime soda?? There were more managers than you see anywhere but none of them willing to serve your request of pouring a little more soda to reduce the effect of extra sweetener.
Their ask was that I will have to buy a soda decanter/ if all people have not raised the alarm, this will not be entertained/ and it has to be as per their timing, not as per my want.
It was like if I ask anything more, they will refuse to provide any further service. You are with your colleagues and don’t want to spoil your time further, so you quit. We paid and left the place.
The only reason I am writing the review so that you are aware that waiter in blazers and coat there doesn’t have necessary qualification/ right attitide. And you need to be cautious if don’t like anything they serve. If they cant entertain such small request, I wonder if they can sustain in long run. Moreover, there are places where you get good food alongwith professional service, then why to waste your money or ruin your mood. Better to find a...

Read moreLet's start with the most important aspect of any restaurant: the food.I ordered Chetinada chicken and they just served me some chatpata chicken,On objection they did changed it but the The chicken was not properly prepared; it was overcooked on the outside, leaving it dry and tasteless, while the inside was undercooked and borderline raw. and then served me just like boiled chicken with green gravy , and I could barely take more than a few bites. The taste was bland, and it lacked the flavors I was expecting. It felt like a chef had gone on vacation, and a novice had taken over the kitchen. It was not just my meal; the entire table's food was underwhelming. Naturally, I wanted to provide feedback to the staff so that they could address the issue. This is where the second disappointment comes in: the behavior of the restaurant staff. When I politely mentioned my dissatisfaction to our server, they seemed disinterested and shrugged it off. There was no attempt to understand what went wrong or to make amends. It's essential for any establishment, especially a restaurant, to take customer feedback seriously and respond with professionalism and empathy. I felt like my concerns were dismissed without a second thought.
I hope the management takes this feedback to heart and makes significant improvements because right now, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying...
