I ordered Chicken and Egg biryani from Heshel restaurant in Hinjewadi Phase 3. I have had horrible biryani before, but this was at a whole new level. For ₹300, you get either 1 piece of chicken or 1 egg on top of a cup of flavorless colorful rice, soaked in some kind of oil or ghee.

The worst part of the experience was not the horrible food, but the fact that these guys call themselves an Authentic Kolkata kitchen. For someone who has never been to Kolkata or never tasted authentic bengali food, would have given up on bengali food after this experience.

Luckily I have had authentic bengali biryani both in Kolkata and outside Bengal to brush this restaurant aside as another scam. I would rather get a bowl of Chicken and rice than to touch this biryani again.
