Creme Della — Restaurant in Maharashtra

We wanted to go to creme della the restaurant for dinner. We were asked at the reception of their resort area to pay a ₹750 cover per person for creme della which we paid. It was a 3-4 minute walk to the restaurant.

When we reached there, there was a corporate dinner in one of the two inside sections. The other inside section was full, there was a 15-20 minute wait time and the interiors of that section were not great. Because of this, we decided to leave from there and go to their other restaurant called cafe24.

When we went back to the reception to tell them that we wanted to go to their other restaurant, they said that they will not be able to adjust this credit of ₹4500 that we had paid in their other restaurant! So we asked them to give us a refund instead. But they even refused that! They just were not ready to budge and said that they cannot do anything for this. Finally then we went to villa Bistro which is a part of their resort area although we did not want to go there.

This system of having to take cover charge coupons way before you see the restaurant which is not nearby, before seeing the menu and table availability is flawed. Also, not adjusting the credit against one of their other restaurants or giving a refund is pathetic and not flexible at all. Hope the management changes this as the staff too is helpless and says that they cannot do anything as these are management rules.

Very disappointing...

We have seen an incidence today where non veg food served which is never seen before on pure veg restaurant, people are being made foolish by saying pure Vegetarian della cream

When I asked to them where is kitchen for della cream then they said kitchen are single for della cream and sports bar (veg n non veg both) then we decided to moved on but when my friend asked the same then they said that there is separate kitchen for della cream and it was misconnunication by restaurant guy

But serving non veg food on other table was Extremely terrible experience and such kind of issues not tolerable

Pure veg should not go to this place as this is so called Vegetarian

I would have given negative points if option is...

When one spends this kind of money, then one expects a certain kind of an experience. And by jove, Della delivers that on point. The walk inside the resort to the restaurant in itself is a treat was the eyes, the view resounding Hollywood hills.

The restaurant itself did not have the best ambience, like its Parsi Dhaba counterpart (right next door). However, the food was mindblowing. It shares a kitchen with the Parsi Dhaba, so no wonder this food has the best rating in Lonavala.

I think the service could have been a bit faster and more attentive to detail, as with most 5 stars. But holistically, I had the best experience. Shoutout to Somasree and Kiran for a good service, and kudos...
