Dhangarwadi Restraurant — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Uncooked food , worst cleanliness, rude behavior.

We have been for lunch as a group of 4 for lunch. We were welcomed very nicely.

1. after order food was on table after 50 mins

2. we had ordered chicken biryani, chicken chukka, veg manchurian dry, jeera rice, dhal tadka, roti. A) Chicken chukka was half cooked and we jus tried one piece of chicken and informed the hotel ppl but they again did something and served the same chicken which we tried one piece again and it was still not cooked.when we asked they told the hotel staffs are eating same thing and we have to pay for it. B) we had ordered veg manchurian dry but we were given gravy.

3. cleanliness. We were asked to sit in a place which was not clean. When we asked one person came for cleaning immediately but he was walking on the same bedsheet which we were supposed to sit and was jus dusting around the spilled food instead of cleaning properly. Jus for the name sake.

though other food was good , over all wanted to rate 1 jus bcos we were forced to pay for uncooked chicken and delay in service. And they were bargaining about reducing 20 or 30 Ed for a 300 Ed dish which was literally uncooked. Request all to avoid this place unless if u want to eat...

I am a person who likes to see the better aspects in any business and try not to be too critical. But people need to know about this place. There is only one word I can associate with this restaurant 'OVERHYPED'.

We were a large group and it took a long time for us to be seated as this is a bustling place. I will never hold that against them as we were a large group and the wait for the table and the food was expected.

But when the food came, it was cold the taste was moderate and a place that wants to live up to it name for the shepherd way of cooking, the meat was overcooked! Both chicken and Mutton. But wait! My complaint isn't the food either. The place also has floor seating for large groups on mattresses. In front of us, the waiter, who was clearing the previous plates spilled a considerable amount of gravy on the mattress cushion. He noticed us and the server simply took the sheet off and replaced with a fresh sheet on top of a gravy soaked matress! The horror! Once we sat, I just peaked underneath the floor height centre table, where we are supposed to sit and spread our legs,it was filled with garbage and used tissue papers.

It was our anniversary so we thought to visit this hotel. Waiting was there so I enquired at the counter for same , he said it is 20mins waiting so we proceeded to wait unknowning of fact that we had to give the name for waiting neither did the counter boy asked. When it was our number to come he gave table to very next guest of ours. On enquiring for why did he not called us he said you did not gave the name although we were standing right in front of him since 15 mins. Then we even apologised for our misunderstanding still he kept arguing. My wife also told him to stay quite with apologies and told him it was our anniversary still he kept arguing. The hotel might be good but they need to understand that even the hospitality has to be good and not Gunda gardi. Hotel owner should keep matured staff at counter. I think just because the hotel is famous they behave...
