After a fun-filled weekend with my cousins, we ended up visiting Hotel Malhar for a quick bite. We were pretty tired and looking forward to a decent meal, but unfortunately, the experience was a bit mixed..
To start with, the service was on the slower side. It took longer than expected to get our food, but I’ll give the staff some credit—they were cooperative once you initiated the conversation. It’s like they need a little nudge to get things rolling..
Now, here’s where things got interesting. There was a group nearby creating a ruckus, talking loudly, and letting their kid blast cartoons on full volume from a phone. It completely killed the mood of the place. We requested the staff to handle it, but they didn’t seem to act on it, so we had to call the manager. It felt a bit unprofessional, especially in a setting where you expect some peace..
A quirky moment happened when we spotted one of the staff wearing a uniform from the hotel across the street.. That sparked a little amusement and became our topic of conversation while we gnawed on the hard, stone-like butter roti they served us.. Speaking of food, if you're a vegetarian, brace yourself.. The staff seemed to assume that vegetarians enjoy raw vegetables, as the dishes lacked proper cooking and flavor.. They seemed too lazy to cook, yet took forever to bring out the food!
On a brighter note, the ambiance wasn’t too bad, especially after they shifted us to the second floor.. The ground floor was empty, and it felt like we could’ve played a game of tennis there.. Paying the bill was another adventure, with no one at the counter, so we stood there awkwardly as if we were the ones asking for money!
Overall, if you’re planning a random visit to Hotel Malhar, prepare for a bit of a headache.. Maybe it’s better suited for a more...
Read moreI recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Hotel Malhaar, and it was nothing short of a disappointment. From the moment I walked in, it became evident that the service and staff at this establishment were far from satisfactory.
The service provided at Hotel Malhaar was undoubtedly the worst I have encountered in recent memory. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked any sense of professionalism. It was as if they were doing us a favor by serving us. Our requests for basic amenities were met with indifference, and we were left waiting for extended periods without any explanation or apology.
The attitude of the staff further contributed to the overall negative experience. They appeared untrained and uninterested in providing a pleasant dining experience. Their lack of knowledge about the menu and inability to answer simple questions left us feeling frustrated and unheard.
The wait time for our food was excessive, and when it finally arrived, it was underwhelming. The quality of the dishes was subpar, lacking in flavor and presentation. It was evident that little effort had been put into ensuring a satisfying culinary experience.
The overall ambiance of Hotel Malhaar was uninviting, with a lack of attention to cleanliness and maintenance. The atmosphere was dull and lacked the warmth and charm one would expect from a reputable establishment.
In conclusion, my visit to Hotel Malhaar was a critical letdown. The worst service and unprofessional staff overshadowed any potential positives this restaurant may have had. I strongly advise against wasting your time and money at this establishment, as it fails to meet even the most basic standards of service...
Read moreMaharashtrian Chicken or Mutton thali is my favorite to relish whenever i wanted to enjoy the rustic flavors of masalas well blended in thin झणझणीत Rassa. Hotel Malhar is newest on the block which serves vivid maharashtrian veg Nonveg cuisine under one Roof. I ordered 2 Special Chicken Thali with some extra Bhakri... Was stunned seeing excellent Packaging no spills or leaks in transit. I feel it's tedious task to Parcel items like Thali For an Restaurant but it's unavoidable in current circumstances. Coming to the Food.. For me the Rassa speaks everything in maharashtrian thali and here it was spot on balanced mildly spicy consisting some chicken pieces. The well cooked suke chicken in onion base went well with my सोनेरी पाणी. Chicken alni soup was cherished by kiddo Huge bhakri was accompanied by thali and my decision of getting extra Bhakri was utterly wrong.. I was full with 2 given in thali itself. Mushy Indrayani Rice cooked in meat stock ended the marathon meat hogging of mine. Overall in Nigdi Pradhikaran area this one is Good option for maharashtrian Food especially nonveg thali. Will surely try Mutton thali next time. I ordered Directly from The Restaurant. They are avalible on Swiggy...
