However, a recent visit approximately two weeks prior to this review indicates a noticeable shift. The familiar presence of the original owners and long-serving wait staff was absent. Furthermore, the taste profile of the dishes differed significantly from past experiences.

I visited SHirdi 25th Oct 2019I was Disappointed with a Hotel in Shirdi by the name Sai vatsala they cheated me by forcing me to buy Prasad for 1500 Rupees which wasnt worth Rs 100, i was literally upset and i didnt dine in the mess which was near to their hotel just discontinued that after my visit to the temple saw this hotel swami Madras totally simple and Rates were reasonable , my flight was cancelled but the owners son asked me to wait in this Hotel itself until my Departure time it was very kind of him he arranged Auto for me which was nominal and the most down to earth person i met in shirdi !!! I had a very bad experience with the food. The quality was extremely poor and far from what was expected. I specifically ordered a rava dosa, but what was served was nothing more than a normal dosa. This shows either carelessness or a lack of authenticity in preparation. When a customer orders a dish, we expect it to be prepared properly and served in the right way — not compromised like this.

Food is not just about filling the stomach, it’s about experience, taste, and value for money. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst food experiences I’ve had. The quality, taste, and presentation all failed to meet even basic standards. I genuinely feel cheated, because what was served was not what was promised.
