What strikes you the moment you enter the restaurant is the spacious, bright and airy look. Devoid of any walls around the sesting area the openness of the place makes it stand out from among the other resrsurants.
The tables are big (for large groups), the chairs comfortable and the music in the background melodious.
The menu has a wide array of dishes to choose from. Service, while good, was still slow. But the food, when it arrived, was piping hot and tickled the taste buds.
One warning though. If you are price conscious order from the menu. If you are ordering any special dish recommended by the owner, check if is in the menu or check the price before ordering. Else you will, like us, land up paying 3 times the normal amount for the dish. And that pinches, especially when the recommended dish was nothing out of the ordinary.
The restaurant does mot seem to keep any soft drinks on site. We ordered a Thums Up which was purchased from some other store and given to us. And considering what they charged foe the drink, it would have been far cheaper to buy your own and bring it to the restaurant.
All in all, a good eating experience....
Read moreI recently visited the restaurant and was extremely disappointed with my experience. While the ambiance and decor were lovely, the extremely high price rate for dishes left me feeling like I not at all get my money's worth. Additionally, the waiter miss guided me on the menu options, which further added to my dissatisfaction.
It's one thing to pay a premium price for high-quality food and service, but it's another thing entirely to feel misled and disappointed by the experience. As a result, I cannot recommend this restaurant to others and suggest that they look elsewhere for their dining needs.
All good reviews seem fake.
Avoid to visit this restaurant in Shirdi. Here I am attaching the will for your comparison with other premium...
Read moreVisited Desi Huy for dinner on a couple of occasions. The ambience is really nice, outdoors and semi-outdoors, great lighting.
We wanted to try Maharashtrian street food. The varieties of pav bhaji were out of this world. Normal, cheese, paneer pav bhajis, all exceptional. Very tasty bhaji and the pavs were nice and soft. We also had a few Chinese snacks, gobhi chilli, veg manchurian, all delectable dishes.
We rounded off both meals with a nice cup of hot tea, brilliant.
The staff was very courteous and polite. The manager spoke to us at length about how he came to Shirdi, was very nice to listen to him and interact with him. Will definitely recommend having your meals...
